great full breakfast with eggs, bagels, fruit, yogurt, coffee, OJ and more. Was fun meeting people as we all sat together at the big dining table. The beds were comfortable and each room has it's own sink. There are two shared toilets and a shower down the hall, kept immaculately clean. The outdoor (enclosed) shower was the BEST thing after a day at the beach. Central location, close to the town, the beach, and Asbury Park.

I asked the owner to write this review even though I needed to cancel my visit due to health issues. She was so understanding and offered to provide a refund … which based on the late notice was above and beyond. I have friends staying there this weekend, and they are raving about the improvements made to the rooms…. And as far as service goes, my friend arrived early to beat the traffic, and was greeted warmly and served a full American breakfast! All I know is I can’t wait to experience this place for myself next Memorial Day Weekend!

This is a really charming and fun B&B. Spotless, well maintained, mostly rooms with a shared bath which was fine with us. Excellent breakfasts! The location is ideal: 2 blocks from the Ocean Grove beach and a 15 minute walk to the Asbury Park train station. Walk over the footbridge on Wesley Lake to get to Asbury’s restaurants and nightlife. 2 outdoor showers. Just wow!

Most relaxing stay and location can’t be great. Friendly staff makes you feel at home. Feel like we made life long friends and memories to last a life time Love how close it is to all jersey shore attractions!

Wonderful old-fashioned hotel in a beautiful New Jersey beach town. The hotel is within view and a short walk of the ocean. It is also close to charming shops, restaurants, and the historic center of Ocean Grove. The owners of the hotel provide a wonderful breakfast. Incredible value and memorable stay.

Absolutely amazing! The owner Lisa is incredible. The Bath Ave Guest House is immaculate, welcoming, and beautiful. The breakfast is incredible and it’s so lovely to eat with everyone. It feels like one big family when you’re here. I will come back here, year after year. I cannot recommend this place enough. <3

I’ve been staying here for the last three years and the service is impeccable, the rooms are clean and neat. It is the best price and a lovely accommodation. I won’t stay anywhere else. Breakfast is fantastic.

Weekend retreat at the Bath Avenue house. We were a group of 15 women (we rented the entire house) Each room is unique with a sink and air conditioner in every room. Jim is an incredible host serving delicious breakfasts and, for our weekend , dinners. 1 block to the ocean. The town is so quaint and the people so friendly. Shared bathrooms (2 on each floor) indoor and outdoor showers. Great place to relax, unplug and unwind. No televisions but you will not miss it sitting in the rocking chairs on the front porch, listening to the ocean.

Stayed here for two nights in July 2018. Check in was friendly and welcoming. The room was sweet and nicely decorated. Rooms are small so be prepared for that. We had room #1 which had a double bed and a pull out. The pull out was very comfortable. Shared bath down the hall meant sometimes waiting for the shower in the afternoon when everyone comes off the beach, but the two outdoor showers are clean and spacious, so I used them instead. Breakfast was fresh fruit, two egg casserole dishes, and a coffee cake. Served in the large dining room. Very tasty and the coffee was excellent. I didn't make the reservation and don't know how this price compares, but it seemed like a good value.
