First floor smells musty, stairs everywhere including getting to lobby, elevator, first floor not convenient since I use a cane We asked for an ADA accessible room and we were told they were booked for an extended time. Breakfast bagel was hard and dry. This hotel used to be a Howard Johnson years ago, it looks like the carpet is...

The usual La Quinta we stay at was not available it was booked up solid(La Quinta Inn & Suites Clifton/Rutherford). So we stayed at this one instead, & overall it was a pleasant stay. The staff were friendly & helpful, the price was fair. Our only two gripes were that the rooms don't have mini refrigerators & there's no pool...

Very nice front desk staff. Room smelled, like a combination dirty, wet dog & moldy smell being covered up w/bleach. Comfortable beds & nice towels. Our rooms didn't have a microwave or refrigerator, so if you need one, make sure you ask ahead of time. Nice breakfast area, but no sausage or bacon served, just hard boiled eggs. I had...

Sorry, New jersey, but we didn't expect much from Paramus. So we were pleasantly surprised at how comfortable (after an exhausting day of driving) the beds were, how helpful the staff person at the desk was, and... how good the morning coffee was.

This review is all about the condition of the La Quinta Hotel in Paramus. I have stayed in other La Quinta Hotels, namely in Southern California, that are so extremely different in quality in comparison to the Paramus hotel. The Paramus rooms are small and dingy. The pillows were terrible. The noise level was bad. The bathroom was small, uncomfortable,...

The room 326 was old and smelly. Analog TV had more snow on it that I saw all winter. Furniture is very old, had to use a pillow to sit in the chair. The bed was very low. The pillows are flat. Went for breakfast and after what I saw decided to go to the bagel shop across the parking...

While not a five star property, this low-rise motel type location is fine for a quick overnight business stay. Very sparse and utilitarian, the rooms are clean and smell fresh. The staff is reasonably friendly and the parking is visible from most rooms. If you have business in the Paramus or NYC area, this is a good place to crash.

This is the 4th stay at this hotel. It's conveniently located off Route 17 and 1 mile to the GSP. The Garden State Plaza Mall is 2 miles away and the mall has a movie theater, all sorts of stores, etc. A Hooter's Restaurant attached to the premise. Every store and food place you could imagine is really close. I...
