The Tower Cottage far exceeded my expectations. This B&B is simply amazing. There is not one speck of dust in the entire place. The home is a few blocks from the beach and boardwalk and the surrounding area is so peaceful and quiet. Our host, Tony, greeted us and made us feel welcome. He was attentive to making our stay comfortable. Each room has an European flair and we stayed in the Versailles themed room. The bathroom was amazing with huge shower and beautiful jacuzzi tub. The bed linens and towels were high end and there was even a wine refrigerator in the closet. The breakfast room is light and cheery with quite an assortment of teas and coffees. For breakfast, we were served a hot banana nut muffin, fresh orange juice, a yogurt parfait, and the most delicious poached eggs I have ever had. It was all simply amazing.

My husband and I & stayed at the Tower Cottage recently, after reading reviews of places to stay in Point Pleasant. It was wonderful! The B&B was cleaner than any hotel or resort we've stayed in and the house and rooms were all beautifully renovated with unbelievable attention to detail. When we arrived, we were treated to cookies and small cakes. We walked upstairs to the Tuscan Dreams room, which is meticulously decorated. As one reviewer stated, the cleanliness and detail was that of a 5 star resort. Tony and Maureen ensure the rooms have high quality linens and towels, a small fridge filled with water, two robes, any and all toiletries you could want or need, a coffee maker, gas fireplace and a bed that is beyond comfortable. There was not one nick or scratch on anything, the room was in perfect shape and looked brand new. I honestly don't know how they keep everything looking this new. Our breakfast was served on the porch (although we could have requested in room) and was excellent. We've done a lot of traveling in the U.S. and Europe over the years and we were both surprised at how much care and pride shows in every corner of this B&B gem. The walk to the beach and boardwalk is less than 5 minutes and the B&B is in a quiet residential area. We plan to stay again and can't recommend the Cottage enough. Wonderful experience!

Last weekend, my husband and I enjoyed the most wonderful weekend at the Tower Cottage in Point Pleasant Beach. As this was our first foray into traveling following the pandemic, I was extremely concerned about Covid precautions at the bed and breakfast.
There was no need to worry as the establishment took every precaution that could have been taken to keep us safe. Our room was extremely clean, it was totally equipped for our two night stay, and all remotes were covered in clear wrap and changed for each stay. At this time, as a precaution, no one entered our room during our stay. There was water available to us in a small wine refrigerator. And, the bed was incredibly comfortable!!!
The owners, Tony and Maureen, were the most gracious hosts. I had asked for an early check-in, and received a text that the room was available well in advance of regular check-in time. Breakfast each day on the front porch was superb and delicious snacks were available all day. I am looking forward to my next stay at the Tower Cottage.

The positives: Very clean. The room, while not large, was nicely renovated. It's pretty quiet, though you can hear the sound of the train horns during the night. It wasn't disturbing to me. We've stayed in a number of B and Bs during COVID, and the experience here was the least pleasant. The least pleasant aspect was having our temperatures taken upon arrival. Not one other B&B or hotel we've stayed at has done this. What would happen if someone had a temperature? You've driven miles....but no room at the Inn? We've recently stayed at beautiful B&Bs in Pennsylvania, Connecticut and Rhode Island. They all allowed guests to enjoy breakfast in the dining room and provided a full breakfast. Here you had to eat in your room (on the bed). They didn't bring fresh coffee, but you had to make it from the machine in your room. Breakfast was a muffin wrapped in Saran Wrap, some fruit, and a wrapped up croissant with ham and eggs on it. The cost is very high--far higher than other fine B&Bs we've stayed at recently. I would not return.

While we take extreme care in remembering our guests, we do not recall these guests nor the room in which they stayed. We take extreme care in protecting our guests from covid exposure. After multiple shutdowns due to the covid virus, we published the precautions we take to our website prior to reopening. Most of our guests are appreciative of the precautions we take. Due to social distancing guidelines, closure of the breakfast room is one of the precautions we have taken. With the closure of the breakfast room, we installed Keurig machines (with pods, creamers and sugars) in each of the rooms for the guest’s convenience so that they may have freshly brewed coffee in their room. Breakfast is delivered to the room or on the front porch, weather permitting. Each of the rooms is equipped with a table and two chairs where the guests may eat their breakfast. To eat breakfast on the bed would have been their choice. There are several breakfast menu options provided. This review is very misleading as it minimizes the breakfast offered. The muffins are freshly made daily, large in size and individually wrapped as an additional precaution due to covid. The fruit salad consists of a variety of assorted fresh fruits, melons and berries along with homemade pina colada sorbet…served in a large mason jar (again due to covid). This particular main course is a three-egg, ham, egg and cheese omelet served with a large croissant. All guests are asked if they would like juice (orange, apple, cranberry or V8) along with their breakfast. Freshly baked cookies, chocolate covered pretzels, chocolate covered Oreos, brownies and fresh fruits are all individually wrapped and available to all guests throughout the day. We are located in a seaside community along the New Jersey shoreline. New Jersey Transit serves all the shore communities whether it is Ocean Grove, Spring Lake or Bay Head, the train whistle can be heard. We are disappointed that this guest had a less than favorable experience during these difficult covid times.

From the moment you pull up in front of The Tower, you KNOW your experience is gonna be special and memorable. Tony, Maureen, and Eloina were fabulous hosts. I recall looking up and thinking, what a view it must be from that topo room. Well, that's exactly where Maureen brought us to - THE TOP! Yes, we got to stay in the Tower Suite of The Tower Cottage and boy was the view and long weekend spectacular. You really felt like you stepped back to Victorian time. The owners have made a lot of effort to bring you the experience... and bring it they have. From homemade scones, fresh fruit, and omelets to the front sitting porch and warm common room, you're taken back in time and treated as such.
The Tower Suite had everything you need and the pampering things (spa tub, plush robes) to make you spoiled. There's even High Tea!
We walked the half mile to the beach and Jenkinson's boardwalk each day and had lunch and dinners in town as well. A glamourous stay and a great 2nd honeymoon location.

We needed a romantic place to stay to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary and Tower Cottage was the perfect spot. It's in a quiet neighborhood, but only a few minutes walk to the beach/boardwalk or to shops down the street. We stayed in the Tower Suite which met our high expectations with a comfortable bed in a sunlight-drenched room, a sitting room with a gas fireplace and a TV (with access to Netflix, Hulu, Apple TV, etc.), and a bathroom with a phenomenal jacuzzi tub. Breakfast was different each day, but very delicious and so filling that we never got lunch during our whole vacation. Thanks to Tony and his staff for making our anniversary special.

The Tower Cottage was beyond my expectations. Clean and elegant with each room having its own special charm. Tony was very accomodating and his wife was lovely and brought out homemade treats each day of our stay. Every little detail was thought of - all that we needed was provided in each room. The breakfast each day was phenomenal and filling! My daughter had a small ceremony on the beach and staying at Tony's place was the perfect accompaniment to her special day. Thanks Tony and Maureen for special memories!

The Tower Cottage is a luxury, delightful bed and breakfast located on an idyllic, quiet, tree lined street. Besides being beautiful, it is immaculate and the service is first class. Comfy beds, luxury linens, towels and robes. Delicious homemade breakfast, accommodating to dietary restrictions. Tony and Maureen are gracious hosts. Already planning a return visit!

We have stayed at several bed and breakfasts over the years, and this truly deserves to be in a league of its own.
However, this is one case where the glowing photos and reviews only partially capture how incredible this place is. Tower Cottage exceeded all my expectations. Not only is Tony the most warm and gracious host, but his home is meticulous and extremely clean. Nothing short of impressive.
The rooms are from the 1800s, yet everything is updated to modern standards. You'll have central air, a cozy gas fireplace, cooler, and stunning bathrooms with chandeliers on dimmers. Even the amenities are top-notch, offering the luxury you'd expect from a 5-star resort—everything from high-end bath gels to bath salts.
The food? Divine. Breakfast is a two-course feast, starting with homemade muffins followed by an appetizer like a yogurt fruit parfait and a main course that could rival any top restaurant-think eggs benedict on fresh croissant with Canadian bacon, poached eggs, spinach, and hollandaise, or an asparagus frittata with crisp bacon. They will even accommodate you with any food allergies or diet. Throughout the day, food and water bottles are out. In the early evening, they served freshly baked homemade cookies, brownies, etc.—better than any dessert we found at local restaurants. And everything was beautifully presented.
As for the host, he made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The beach is couple of blocks away, and they offer beach passes, beach bags, and beach towels for your use while staying at their home.
The exceptional service we received at Tower Cottage has set a new standard for us. We're already looking forward to our next visit.

A beautiful gem nestled in a residential area of Point Pleasant Beach (just blocks to the beach). Absolutely stunning and meticulously kept. The breakfast is beautifully presented and oh so very delish! Thank you so much for such a wonderful stay! Although we did not get to meet the owners of the property, Ellie was excellent!
