This hotel is nice. The location is great. 1 block from the beach and just a few blocks south of Jenkins rides, aquarium, Tiki Bar and Martells. It cost $12 over age 11 to get on the beach. There are bathrooms on the boardwalk but the hotel is close enough to go back to. The rooms were clean. Sheets, towels and blankets were nice and clean. Bring pool towels and beach towels and chairs. The pool is great for kids and the adults have plenty of lounge. Chairs and tables to gather. We had a nice family fun crowd and enjoyed some pool time after the beach. There is a refrigerator but no microwave. However the pool shack makes coffee and tea, breakfast and hamburgers etc for lunch. They came to our room w fresh towels and to empty garbage daily. Being an extra beach towel to wipe the sand off your feet before you go in or place at door to wipe feet, it’s the beach!! The room was ready early at 2 and they let us park earlier and we spent the day at The Tiki bar - beach there is $10 and you can have a beverage on the beach there and clean bathroom which was nice plus the bands started around noon on Friday. Also there is free parking on the side streets surrounding the hotel so guests were able to join us for the day!! Overall a fun weekend!!

Would definitely recommend this motel. The room was very clean , the bed was very comfortable, the AC worked great along with a ceiling fan. Within walking distance to the beach and boardwalk. There is a little snack bar at the pool where you can get breakfast, sandwiches etc. 4 stars because of the price. There are other motels in the area that sell for half the price and are just as clean (they were of course sold out though) if the price was a little more fair I would stay every time. However other than that it’s a perfect little motel!

The room was very clean. Great service. Perfect location to get on the beach. Lovely pool for the kids. At the pool is a great little restaurant area that opens at 7am with delicious coffee and breakfast. We can't wait to come back.

The best part was that the location was a block away from the boardwalk. I didn’t like how dirty the floors in my room were. I know that it’s not a fancy room but at least I expect it it to be clean. My children’s feet were black after they walked around in there for a while. There was no telephone in the room to complain about it. I had to wipe the floors with Lysol wipes I had brought with me. The room felt stuffy and humid. The room had no iron and no blow dryer as advertised. In the pool area people were allowed to play loud music with profanity while my children were swimming. I was not happy with my stay. They should lower their prices for the service they provide. I will not return.

Think before booking. We were in room 16 and it was very loud. Walls are paper thin and we could hear the washing machine running constantly. We also did not have cleaning service, and when I asked that evening, I was told to “speak with the owner.” We had no fresh towels, and when I asked for those, the desk told me I’d have to wait, as he was the only one working that afternoon. Room was furnished nicely, but it was just way too loud and not at all “friendly.” You can do better for that distance from beach/boardwalk.

King room was immaculately clean - you could smell the clean when you opened the door to the room. Poolside #24. Bathroom is spacious and also immaculate. Bed comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. Mini frig was cold and AC worked quietly. Half block to the beach. Great location. Would definitely stay again.

I stayed at this cute little motel and just a few blocks away from the boardwalk and right across from the beach. It didn’t have a view to the beach but just a hop, skip and a jump and you are at the beach. It’s convenient because you can park and save on the very expensive public and private parking. It’s clean and the reception people were pleasant. There is a snack bar in the pool area which was also convenient to get your morning coffee. It’s not fancy but the furniture and bathroom facilities were neat and tidy. I stayed at a motel a few weeks earlier and it was a horror story. This is definitely a step up by orders of magnitude. I would stay here again when I want to do an overnight stay to enjoy the beach and boardwalk.

I was put in a room next to a closet. I had to climb a steep set of stairs to get to the room. The room smellled like bleach and I couldn't open a windwo. During the night there was a loud noise about every hour or so that lasted a few minutes Do very disturbing. The staff were nice but dissapointed with the room. The pillows were average or subpar. Not worth the money.

I really liked this place. A block away from the boardwalk. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We got up to see the sunrise and walk the boardwalk and since there was no coffee pot in the room, we went down by the pool and bought a great coffee from the couple in the coffee hut. The room was clean and quiet. My only complaint is that the pillows were hard and flat-a small thing.

Cannot say enough good things. This motel is clean and offers daily housekeeping! The staff is very friendly and helpful. The pool and poolside snack bar (which serves breakfast and lunch) are amazing amenities. We opted for a mini-suite and it was a great decision, the extra space was very homey. All in all it was such a great stay and we will be back! Look no further than Sand Pebble for your next family stay at Point Pleasant Beach!
