Just got back home today. We stayed in Ocean front efficiency as we do every year. Rooms where not as clean as i had hoped it would be, we where also given the impression that cleaning staff was at a minimum due to Covid. I am a bit crazy, so i cleaned my room to my standards anyway and allowed no maid service. As always Betty Ann, Teddy,Sammy and Pauly( whom i had a few conversations with about our crazy cleaning habits) where always there when we needed them. The 1 thing that bummed us out was i would have liked to see the chairs in the pool area to have been sanitized throughout the day. Due to that, we did not stay in the pool area often. We stayed away from people as much as we could, wich was easy on our beautiful balcony. We always have a great time while staying at the Driftwood. Private beach, snack shack( we did not go to this time due to the lack of mask wearing).
I believe they did the best they could this year, with all the new rules and lack of employees. Due to Covid, we did not do the boardwalk this year, but we had plenty of beach time and where able to relax on our balcony and enjoy our meals away from others and enjoy the ocean view.
We still had a great vacation relaxing with our small family of 3. Already counting the days till next year.

I had such an amazing stay at Driftwood. I checked out only a couple of days ago and I'm already planning for my next trip back!

Betty Anne was so kind and always available if we were to need anything; I truly enjoyed the conversations we shared and how hospitable she is.

The room looked like it was recently remodeled and I couldn't stop admiring the beautiful flooring! The closet has tons of storage space with a shelving unit for you to lay out all of your belongings - no need to ruffle through your luggage searching for what you need when you stay here!

There was overcast and fog one day, but it was still a beautiful view of the beach and ocean. When the sky is clear you have a great view of the ocean on the deck and pool area. The pool is heated and was so relaxing after a day in the sun. The setup outside on the deck is absolutely perfect with plenty of tables and seating and an adorable snackbar which was not open, but that was to be expected considering NJ restaurants and food services are still not open for dining.

i stayed at the driftwood for my son's bday a few weeks ago and it was just delightful!
the pool area was clean, there was cornhole for my kids to play, the beach is literally a few steps from the pool so you're no in a congested area with the rest of the beach goers that swamp the boardwalk area.
the rooms have been renovated and they smelled great, you could tell they were freshly cleaned. betty ann at the front desk was very helpful and really polite. i would 100% stay here again, and would absolutely recommend.
~ Jennifer & family~
it's not even a five minute drive from the main boardwalk area, so you are close enough to go have fun, yet distant enough for peace and quiet.

The Driftwood Motel recently renovated all their rooms and the upgrade is great. Our room was clean, spacious and overall very comfortable. It’s directly on a private beach so it’s never crowded and kept very clean. Lifeguards are there until 4 pm. They also have a very nice gated pool and a Snack Shop that offers breakfast and lunch at very reasonable prices. Management does have very strict checkout rules and you have to pay $50 to use the beach after 11 AM. Parking on site but the spaces are tight so it’s a bit of a challenge for large vehicles. Overall, we loved our visit and plan to return, often. In speaking with management, they plan on continue yearly upgrades.

I've stayed at the Driftwood Motel several times in the past 16 years. How can you go wrong here. Clean cozy rooms that were just renovated. We stayed in room 107 which had two beds and a big closet. The room had lot's of space. A pool that's heated and always clean and of course - the beautiful beach just steps away. The deck by the pool has a food concession where you can get a cup of coffee in the morning as well as a hot or cold breakfast, they also serve lunch. At night you can sit by the deck and listen to the ocean waves. Always a relaxing experience. I wish I was there right now. Look forward to going back again and again.

Just came back from my 4th visit at the Driftwood and my family and I love this place. Our rooms are always clean, pool, beach and snack bar are just a few feet away. Bettyann and her brothers are awesome and very helpful. Bettyann works her butt off and is constantly cleaning up after people that leave their garbage all over the place! The parking lot is a pain but it’s workable and if your not a smoker this place might not be for you. Smoking is permitted on the premises. I can’t wait to go back next Summer!

Just got back from our first getaway to the Driftwood and we are hooked. The rooms were recently renovated and are immaculate. The air conditioning unit worked extremely well. The stars of the property are the back patio, pool, private beach and the little beach shack the serves awesome taylor ham, egg & cheese sandwiches and burgers! Betty Ann manages the property and works tirelessly to keep the grounds pristine and sees to all your needs. She is an asset to the motel. The rest of of the staff you encounter are equally lovely. Cant wait to book our next long weekend at this little beach gem.

My aunt and I visit the Jersey Shore every year, usually in June, mostly staying in Point Pleasant. This year we wanted to stay some place different than where we've stayed before but directly on the beach. We randomly chose Driftwood Motel, and we're soooo glad we found this Jersey Shore gem! We stayed in room 133, poolside. Opening the door and walking into a newly renovated, CLEAN room solidified that we had made a great choice. The outdoor pool is large, refreshing, and very well maintained. There's even a sandy beach area right by the pool with plenty of lounge seating to relax, enjoy a drink, and get your tan on. The snack shack on the property adds a great accommodation for quick bites to eat and a hot cup of coffee in the morning!
The location cannot be beat! If you are looking to be steps away from basically a private beach, then this is the place for you! Also, you're only about a 10 minute walk away from the Boardwalk, another bonus!
Betty Ann and the owner of Driftwood we're also wonderful. My aunt and I both enjoyed talking with Betty Ann, she's so sweet and welcoming...making you feel like you're an old friend. Driftwood is now our spot! Betty Ann, next year we will be back.
Thank you!
Angela from Nebraska

I couldn't have asked for a better experience for a first-time visit to the jersey shore! The location was incredible, right on the beach and boardwalk, day or night there was always something to do. My group of friends also enjoyed the proximity to several great restaurants. On top of that, the staff and amenities on the property really made you feel like you were on vacation!

I recently stayed at the Driftwood with a few families...this hotel did not disappoint. The newly renovated rooms were immaculate. The pool and beach are so convenient and not crowded. Our kids from 4-16 were crying when we left. Sam, Paulie and Betty Ann were very attentive to our needs. Snack stand was delicious. Can’t wait to go back. It was a home run as I was told!! Margie Faz
