Went with husband for 5 nights. Spent many years vacationing in Seaside Heights but this was our first stay at the Colony Motel. We had a wonderful experience. We will never stay at any other hotel in town again. Owners Ronnie & Sunny couldn’t be more welcoming or helpful. The hotel is kept in excellent condition, meticulously clean, & quite comfortable. It’s tucked away at the end of the quieter side of the boardwalk but everything is still easily accessible. The rooms were a generous size & had nice little tables & chairs in front to sit outside. Flowers dotted the outside beautifully & there is a nice clean pool right on the grounds. The rooms and property are well maintained & it’s easy to see why so many guests come back year after year.
Thank you Ronnie & Sunny for a relaxing vacation! We look forward to coming back for years to come!

My husband and I stay at the Colony Motel when we go to Seaside and love it there. Sunny and Ron are wonderful people who treat their guest like family. The place is spotless and what ever you need you just ask them. We are looking forward to next years stay at the Colony.

This was our first time visiting Seaside heights. The owners were very friendly. Sunny is the most gracious hostess..When we woke up she asked how we slept, if we needed anything and always fresh coffee in the morning with big coffee cups and plenty half and half and sugar..price was very reasonable..will be back..

My wife and myself had an opportunity to do a spur of the moment getaway and decided on Seaside Heights because of its close proximity. We went without a hotel reservation, and decided to make one when we arrived. I was recently in seaside and told her i wanted to drive by the Colony since I walked by it a number of times during my last visit. We are both extremely happy we made the choice to stop. I met Ron and Sunny when I entered the office and was happy to hear they had a room available. They are both super nice and take extra care of their property! Their concern is more then evident in the way they run their business. They are extremely attentive to its condition. The pool is super clean , along with the rooms. They told us that the beach passes were included which is also a nice bonus. There is an area to sit outside your room with chairs. The location is also a huge bonus. You can walk anywhere from the water park to the beach with complete ease. You could tell a large portion of the guests are there on a return visit. Their dedication should be applauded. Was nervous looking for a motel that was affordable due to concerns of cleanliness. Sonny and her husband are the best hosts and made the trip feel safe and clean. They were extremely helpful and were constantly doing up-keep on the motel the whole day. Would 100% recommend this place to someone. Nothing to worry about here! Also very close to the beach and easy access to the boardwalk!

Nice, affordable, convenient place to stay, with friendly owners. Accommodations are basic, but immaculate. We had everything here that we needed for a pleasant getaway. Clean pool, and quiet area of town. Can easily walk to the boardwalk and beach.

I stayed here with my friends last year on the 4th of july and it was a nice place to stay! i'd go there again! I really liked the managment, they were really nice and also helpful!

Well I went for my birthday and it was my first time being at the beach and being able to see the ocean. I went with my boyfriend and we didn't make reservations at all, so we had gone to 4 other Motels to ask if they had any vacancy and they said no, they were very rude... But then we came to the Colony Motel and the staff there was trememdous they were the sweetest people we met, especially the lady at the front desk.
They aren't overly expensive affordable, rooms are fairly nice they have (air conditioning, fridge, microwave, tv and remote control, swimming pool. The only thing they don't have in the rooms is a telephone, that is probably the only bad thing about the entire place.) The room was very nice no problems whatsoever, I would definitely go back there again, and I reccomend that others go there as well and meet such a wonderful group of people that my boyfriend and I met. I give this place a double thumbs up... Way To Go!!!! You Rock!!!!

We stayed at the Colony Hotel this Labor Day weekend. The owners are very nice and will go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. Rooms are clean for Seaside. CVS is right across the street and the beach entrance is on the same block. Remember the beach is free on Wed. and Thur. Also if you have kids 8 and up there is a surf camp during the summer that my son enjoys. alot of fun.

My family stayed here last week for 1 night.....then we went to another hotel. The positives were Sunny. She really did try to make you feel welcome and comfortable. There is coffee, tea, and muffins in the morning. The beach is 1 block away and everything is in walking distance, but the room was skeevy. The room had an odor of spilled liquor that was smelled the second you opened the door. There were holes in the walls behind the bed. It looked like pictures were taken down and moved to a different spot without filling the other holes. The bathroom was old, dingy, and rusty. The sink was rusted. The toilet had a piece of wood on top instead of a tank cover. I checked the beds for bedbugs because I was grossed out by the room, but the beds were surprisingly clean. The staff leave the doors open after guests leave to air out the room, but I had to kill Mosquitos and flys because of it. I would not recommend this hotel. Hopefully Sunny can update this place and clean it up in the future because she really does try to accommodate her guests.
