We chose this resort because the Mtv crew was put up there during the taping of the Jersey Shore. We figured it would be better than the rest.
WE WERE WRONG. I guess Mtv is not too concerned with cleanliness when they book their people into a motel. We were greeted by an angry little man who for the most part was rude and you could barely find him when we were checking in. He was so rude he told my wife, if you don't like my attitude want you can just take your money and go. There aren't any other vacancies so you won't have a room. By the time I got there I had to make him aware we were spending our money here and Im sure he deals with many different people but we weren't there to eat his s**t! He kind of changed his tune but that did not make the room any cleaner. He was cocky about the hotel and spouted a bunch of nonsense about how great the place was and his running of it. The room he gave us was dirty there was vomit on the side of the box spring. and it had a tube tv like the 70s with cheesy funature..... not so great. We asked for a new room and lowered our expectations. The room was better, bt that's like being the prettiest girl in a bar full of men!

This place is a long walk to the beach and most of where you want to be is up the boardwalk. It was also one of the more expensive rooms on the shore.

You have to give him your keys because he may need to move your car around as he manages this little parking lot. It makes it impossible if you want to get your car out at any point of your stay.

All in all this place needs a hurricane remodel and I think Sandy took care of it.

Most of the places on the shore are much better and less expensive. I gave this place 2 stars because the boardwalk and beach happened to be in the same vicinity!

Checked in around 4:30 - 5:00 an requested a king bed room. Was told we were on the 2nd floor and found it quite strange that alot of the floor were rented out as offices. Went to our room only to find it was quite warm water had leaked from the refrigerator all over the dresser. There were no towels in the bathroom. We went downstairs as phones didn't seem to work and were told they would bring them up. Played with the air and was assured it would get cooler, it just takes time. We left for approx 5 hours and it was actually hotter then we left. Air was obvious broke. Went down to speak to night manager who was extremely rude and now moved us to a double bed room and never offered any considerations for all the trouble. Not a good experience at all.

for my 16th birthday my friends and my parents went to the white pearl hotel. we ended up having two king size suites where both the bathroom doors were broken, our toilet paper holder and the closet. when we confronted the lady at the front desk she said, "thats courtesy of MTV and they wont pay for it." if your running a "hotel" you should fix it.... yes it is cool to say the jersey shore cast broke my bathroom door, but someone really needs to fix it. the indoor pool was highly disgusting and small. we told the lady at the front desk we didn't want maid service cause we weren't really comfortable with the place and having people in our room, she told me that i either got the maid service or she wont give me towels when i come and ask for them. i found that rude and she was never at the front desk. if you needed her you had to call her. poor service i was also told free high speed internet, i got there and there was no internet for this hotel...

We are very sorry that you had this type of experience. We pride ourselves on our guests and the fact we are the only indoor hotel in town that receives the highest ratings each year from all state and town inspectors. We hope that you would give us another opportunity to gain your business. We can assure you that no one would enter your room provided you leave the Do Not Disturb Sign on your door and when ever you want fresh linens you can always call the hotel telephone number and we will have them ready for you when you enter the building. Lastly, we do have free Wifi internet and have not received any complaints or issues concerning it. Perhaps we needed to just reboot our systems during your stay. Please feel free to email us and allow us to provide you with another opportunity to stay at the Jersey Shore. please email Lisa Pallatto at lpallatto@gmail.com

Just got back from 3 nights of hell staying at the White Pearl Hotel. 1st night the bed broke had to sleep on a matrese on the floor wasn't even offered another room. No towels in the room had to ask for some. The jerk Steve at the front desk has the personality of a wet sock and is very rude. The room smelled and the mattresses were impossible to sleep on. I would never go back to this dump by the sea would rather stay in a tent.

Wow! We are absolutely appalled by this response. We invite you to stay at any other hotel within Seaside Heights and we guarantee not only did we provide you with a tremendous value we also have the cleanest, safest and only indoor hotel in town. As far as towels....you were issued them upon request daily. Each room has adequate number of towels per guest. Beds, well after some use they do break. We do apologize that happened to you however we tried to rectify as best we could considering it was a weekend and our hotel is booked every day. With that being said we were not able to offer you another room at that time. Please feel free to stay at one of our competitors and we guarantee we will see you back.

first of all, Steve, the "manager" was a complete [--]. when we checked in there was no towels in our room and he told us "well you just checked in why would there be towels?" well why would you clean a room and not put towels in there? the pool is dirty, when we stayed the door was rusty and broken. when sitting on the rooftop deck we had to lay out our own chairs. when the kids were swimming in the pool, we asked Steve for towels since there was none in our room, and he said they were on the table in the pool room. the towels looked like a family had just thrown them on the table and forgot they were even there. I do NOT reccommed staying there AT ALL. it was absolutely awful.

We are currently staying at this hotel. I was looking forward to a mini-vaca for Easter weekend and founf The White Pearl from an internet search. NOWHERE on the website did it mention that this hotel is under renovation and therefore it is VERY noisy all day. There is no parking because the owner will not open the parking garage until summer. Our entire carpet is soaking wet and we merely received a "sorry" from the owner, since, as he explains, the rooms got wet when the siding was removed during the rain last week. Well don't u think u should have told us BEFORE we paid for our room. And to top it off, the reason we booked this motel is because of the indoor heated pool....more like the ice cold pool in a small sectioned off indoor area that is so poorly ventilated we nearly choked to death upon entering from the overwhelming chlorine stench...and we were huge fans of all the nails and screws that were scattered all over the concrete where children and adults alike walk barefoot poolside. NEVER AGAIN!!!

My family has stayed here 3 years straight and I am waiting for a phone call back on prices for this year. We love the staff and the pool and the deck.. and the convenience of how close the beach is. Love it. :)

stayed here in June for a bachelorette party. AMAZING!!! Let me start by saying, It its the ONLY hotel in seaside heights, your other choice is a seedy motel. The staff is AMAZING!! They are all family and treat you like you are one of their own. The resturant attached to the hotel is soo good and they have pizza and are open almost all night if not all night. Beds are comfy, decor is ok, pool is indoor but they have a great patio that is open all night! Location is great walking distance to both boardwalk and the bars but there is a shuttle that will take you to all the bars. Had the best experience here! Louie the limo driver was the BEST!! Had a blast here! Just great people! Will def stay again!

My family of 5 and two other families recently stayed at the White Pearl. Upon checking in, we were told by the manager that the owners son was having a small party on the rooftop deck. (same floor hat we were staying on). Well, the party began at midnight and lasted until 5:30am! The music was blasting and there were drunk kids yelling, screaming and running up and down the hall. We were up All Night long! I tried several times to call the manager (who said he was on site) but nobody answered. The next morning we walked out to drunk kids, passed out on the deck, broken bottles and cigarettes all over the floor. The manager apologized and we received a free breakfast.
We decided to stay the 2nd night we had already payed for. While sitting on the roof deck hat night, we witnessed several shady people hanging out on the corner across the street. It seemed as though there were drug deals going on! To our surprise, a few of the "shadey" people came across to the White Pearl and the manager told my husband that he was doing someone a favor and that they were staying in the room RIGHT NEXT to us!!! The entire night, they were in and out of the room and we all could smell marijuana coming into our room. We definitely did not feel safe hat night.
We were actually supposed to return with 3other families at the end of August, but obviously,we all cancelled out reservations.
I heard in past years this hotel was top notch. Now, not so much. It seems to have gone downhill since they started renting out the party room on the 4th floor. Bad move!
