We stayed here with 4 other families this August and we stayed in June earlier this summer as well. We have been here several times over the past 5yrs. Always clean. Staff is so friendly and helpful in rental reservations and anything we need at the time of our stay. Family friendly, great pool and beautiful view on the upper deck with tables. Perfect location across the street to the beach. Everyone greats you as you walk past their rooms. The only part that I have a hard time with is the parking lot. They are small spaces and hard to get into and out if you have a van or suv. We will continue to go back anytime we stay overnight and the family we brought down this year also loved it and will be going back as well!

I have stayed at many different hotel over the years. This one is hands down the best! Very welcoming! Everyone was so very nice! It was clean and comfortable. The apartment size refrigerator was a game changer! There was a broom and dustpan for the floors because you know you always bring sand back from the beach. I will def be back!

Great location, parking for one car included. staff was VERY friendly. Clean room with towels, hand soap, toilet paper, coffee maker, filters and microwave included. Stove, oven and fridge were fine. Bring your own shampoo, hair dryer, paper towels, salt/pepper & ice trays. Bags of ice are $4.00. Highly recommend staying here.

Our family and 2 other families just spent a week here. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating! The rooms were all clean. Each day the staff came by offered fresh towels and asked if there was anything needed. Great place for families!

Awesome staff and extremely welcoming - they certainly are the best rentals! They drop off clean towels and toilet paper every morning right to your door even if you don’t ask for room service. There pool is very clean and the seating area with picnic tables over looking the beach is a great touch.

House on 66 Stockton ave upstairs. The house was sold, new owners, things have changed. The back yard is no longer cleaned from the pine needles everywhere, old clothes line, gas grill does not heat to a proper cooking temp. The outside shower was filthy, nephew cleaned with industrial cleaner. The water from shower drains to where you stand to cook at the grill. The refrigerator is over 15 years old and this is a new one to the house, not grounded so every time you touch the top section you get a buzz. The upstairs air conditioner in the side with the twin beds broke, blew hot air, so an another was put in the window, looks like it came out of the junk yard. It’s too barely worked. There was a dog there before we stayed, when I tell you black dog hair everywhere, even after the cleaning was done. New mattress in front downstairs bedroom, the second bedroom had bunk bed. Not very practical for older people. Upstairs same old Mattresses from two owners ago. Washer and dryer also very old but barely work. Broken blinds that don’t open upstairs. The current pictures are not what this unit looks like now.
Down stairs bedroom queen bed, second bedroom twin over a full bunk, upstairs two old twin, and the front bedroom upstairs a full bed and a twin.
My advice to the owners, up grade this unit. Also, I was told the owner wanted the last week of July next year for her family. So, I looked else where and found a unit with ALL the things on my check list. Like central air conditioning, new appliances, includes linens at no extra cost, ceiling fans, front outside porch, porch off the kitchen in the back. Closets yes closets none upstairs in Stockton ave house. New washer and dryer. Prefect find,
I do want to say thank you to Stu and Maureen who used to own this house and cottage. You were the best owners, always there when something was needed. You also do a fabulous job managing the Ocean Terrace units.

We have been going to Seaside Park for over 30 years and this motel is the nicest and cleanest by far. So convenient to the beach which is right across the street, a wonderful pool and a rooftop deck to gather with a beautiful view of the ocean. Rooms are either motel style with one or two beds or suites with kitchenettes. Rooms have ac's and most have ceiling fans. The managers, Stu and Maureen are wonderful and Mike the maintenance manager is always on the property to assist with anything you need. Looking forward to returning in 2025!

Growing up in NJ and frequenting the shore, I was very skeptical about this 5 star review. My main concern was cleanliness and second, location. Fortunately, this place had both. We got a three bedroom apartment, which was located in the second building and about a block from the beach. The place is at the beginning of the boardwalk near the sawmill, so it is much quieter than being dead center of the boardwalk. The place caters to families, so there was no loud party going on. They provide beach badges for your stay with a cash deposit and were extremely accommodating. My only complaint is the bed was very uncomfortable. Other than that I can see why it’s highly rated. It’s very hard to get this type of hotel at the shore. We will definitely be back.

If I could give this place 10 stars I would. The whole experience from checking in to checking out was extraordinary. The room was the cleanest hotel room I have ever seen. Kudos to the housekeeping staff. There are maintenance people walking around and picking up every little thing to keep the property immaculate. The family of the owners are on site 24/7 and are ready to help you with every little thing. The pool was very clean. Their prices are very reasonable for a top notch property. Seaside Heights and Park are nice places but you have to be cautious when renting. This place does not rent to kids, which is a big plus. This place has obviously been recently remodeled, the rooms are nicely decorated and the mattresses are very comfortable. You can't go wrong with this place.

We have been coming to NJ for at least 30 years and have been staying at Ocean Terrace for several years now and it is by far the best place. Maureen and Stew are great managers and Mike is very knowledgeable and always there to help when needed. We had almost 60 friends and family this year and we all had a great time. Looking forward to next year

Hello, Renee D. While Seaside is a busy and active place, we've created a family-friendly environment so guests can enjoy all there is to see and do on the boardwalk and beach but then get away for some R&R if they need to. However, keep in mind that Seaside is not the place for total peace and quiet. You won't have quiet as in the mountains, but compared to other places to stay in town, we encourage guests to enjoy themselves and allow space for everyone else to enjoy themselves. No one will get rowdy on the premises and families love it here, but there are quieter towns if you want to totally escape from any noise.
