The Spring Lake Inn in beautiful Spring Lake NJ is our most favorite place along the Jersey Shore. We have stayed there 7 or 8 times; sometimes by ourselves, sometimes with friends and a couple of times with family including my grandchildren. Each trip has been a special getaway - we always feel so welcome. Andy, Barbara and all the... More

We enjoyed our stay at the Spring Lake Inn. The Inn provided a restful, relaxing and quiet environment to unwind and enjoy the ocean. The location was excellent, just 1 block away from the boardwalk. Between the A/C and fan, we kept cool despite the very warm weather. What seemed lacking for this highy rated B&B was the breakfast. Their... More

Thank you for your comments which we value and review with our entire staff. We are constantly looking for ways to improve and enhance our guest experience. Our breakfast table has a multitude of fresh whole fruit in baskets and sliced fresh seasonal fruits-pineapple cantaloupe, honeydew, exotic melon, sliced kiwi, strawberries, blueberries on a silver tray and a bowl of... Where do I begin… Spring Lake Inn is perfect for any occasion from a cozy short stay, a wedding or even a business meeting. The comfortable beds, remarkable scenery (the beach is only 1 block away) and delicious food are just a few things to note. Most importantly the Inn is run by a gracious couple who are incredibly accommodating... More

My wife and I stayed two nights at Spring Lake Inn. We loved the town of spring lake, we both commented on how it was one of the nicest towns we'd ever visited. I highly recommend for a romantic getaway. Nearby you can find lakes, shopping, restaurants and it is only a short drive to Belmar if you are looking... More

The Inn is located on a very nice side street. It is in walking distance to the ocean, lake and all the shops and restaurants unless you are really lazy and can’t walk a block. We never used the car in the 2 days we were there. The Inn itself is well kept and had a great helpful staff (Donna,... More

Had a pleasant stay last weekend when the weather was beautiful. It was nice to walk to the beach after this harsh winter and be able to put my toes in the sand this early in the year. The Inn is situated a little over a block from the beach and is nestled in a nice residential section of Spring... More

My daughter and I just came back from a wonderful weekend at the Spring Lake Inn. This is our second visit and we just love it there. We stayed in the Moonbeam and loved the views & the fireplace. Donna makes a wonderful breakfast with fresh fruit, tea breads, croisants and my daughter's favorite French Toast! I love the banana... More

Spring Lake itself is a quiet quant town. The houses, streets and beaches are immaculate. The spring lake inn is just ok. It needs to be updated to match the town. The inn itself is clean however someone needs to take a lesson in painting. The floor in our room was speckled with paint. This was mostly likely due to... More

We certainly appreciate all comments from our guests. They are reviewed with all staff members for appropriate action. Our building dates from 1888 and many elements are original to the building. Some workmanship over the years may not have been excellent and are prioritized as part of our ongoing TO DO list . Our baked goods are made fresh daily.... More

We had our first delightful stay at the Spring Lake Inn, a beautifully-restored Victorian home. The theme of our room was "The Lighthouse," which had a plasma TV and a very comfy king-sized bed. Maryanne and Donna immediately made us feel right at home. The breakfast was very special, and Donna was so accommodating of my dietary needs deliciously. The... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Welcome to the Spring Lake Inn, where European-style hospitality, history and contemporary amenities blend together for an unforgettable vacation experience. We’ve been told that our inn is unpretentious, yet elegant, inviting, yet private for those guests who need time and space to unwind. Built in 1888 as the Grand Central Stables of Spring Lake NJ, the inn is only a block from the ocean and the 2-mile boardwalk. We serve sumptuous breakfasts in the grand dining room as well as afternoon tea. Our 80 ft. Victorian porch is irresistible. Each of the 16 spacious guestrooms and suites offers all or a combination of the following luxury features: fireplace, ocean view, Jacuzzi, 4-poster bed, sleigh bed, refrigerator and digital cable TV. Fine dining, boutique shopping and spa pampering are only blocks away.
