i been here for 5 mths now working in jersey and most every knight when i return to my room its clean and bed is made. service is great , quiet location, air is cold and heat will cook you. location is great for food and shopping, im just a construction worker and this place has done rite by me. mary at the front desk is top off the line she knows her stuff and will have everything in order for your stay week in and week out.

We were booked at the Quality Inn checked in-- 1st room had roaches, 2nd room bathroom flooded, 3rd room bathroom was so disgusting.
Came over to Red Roof & Natacha at the front desk was SO HELPFUL. She got us a room for us. When we got up to our room she called to make sure that every thing was ok for us. Customer Service here was EXCELLENT!! Thank you Natacha!!!!

I’ve never been to a Red Roof Inn and this particular location got mixed reviews. Well the check in was wonderful even though the system went down. The absolute personable front desk clerk Shana was so great, she directed me to a awesome place to eat and when I came back I was checked in with out delay. The room was extremely clean and cool. It was quiet and we were able to enjoy a good night sleep. Check out was seamless as well and Mary was sooo nice. All in all it was a very pleasant experience. I would come back again.

This place is disgusting! I was traveling with my girlfriend and dog to visit family and after a 12 hour drive just needed a place to stay that was close to family. When checking in we received our room only to find it covered in black mold in an active construction zone with almost no room to get into the door. After going to the front desk and asking for a refund they told me the manager isn’t here and I’m not authorized to give refunds. A new room was assigned that was even worse construction dust over everything with a mildew smell as well as a smoke smell, cobwebs, dirty floor, honestly just disgusting. At this point it was almost 1am and we were so tired we decided to rough it out and try and get some sleep. At 7am we were promptly awoken by construction outside our door grinding concrete and banging. Why would they assign me a room like this? I have no idea. No one at the front desk is able to do anything other then check you in so good luck if you stay here. After 10 days of trying to contact the manager for refund, being told the manager has no set hours and the person on the phone at the front desk can’t help, sending multiple emails with no response I was forced to dispute this with my credit card. I had two nights booked but only stayed one out of pure necessity. I’m not the kind of person to write reviews and tried to laugh it off but this was a horrible experience and highly advice against staying here. Also the loud music playing and shady people walking around the parking lot all hours of the night says a lot about this location, a true crack dungeon hotel. STAY AWAY

I have been staying in hotels for almost 40 years and stay over 30 nights a year. I had called the 800 number to tell them I was going to be arriving later, the rep found my reservation and then called the hotel directly, the woman there stated the hotel did not have my reservation. She connected me to the hotel directly, the woman stated they did not have my reservation, I offered to email my reservation which I booked directly on RedRoof.com, not a 3rd party website. I sent the email, I called back the 800 number which transferred me to the hotel, apparently you can't call the hotel directly, you have to call the main 800 number. The same woman answered and said she got my email but still did not have my reservation in their system, if I wanted a room, it would cost an additional $65 more than what I booked it at. I became upset since it was not my fault they didn't have my reservation, she hung up on me. My Red Roof account still showed I had an active reservation. Shortly afterwards, I got an email notification that my reservation had been cancelled. I did not cancel it, apparently it was done by the hotel or the 800 number. I called back the 800 number, rep told me my reservation was cancelled but refused to tell me who cancelled it, I filed a grievance. Apparently they refused to honor my reservation since the rates had gone up since I booked it several months ago. I went to the hotel later on with my luggage to see if I could check in, Doug was nice but said they were sold out. Worst experience ever.

I was surprised at the room given all the good reviews here. The mattresses in our room had collapsed springs so they sagged in places, which made it hard to sleep. Other aspects were run down as well, but the beds were the worst. Peeling ceilings, no drain covers in the sink or tub, ancient microwave with 2 minutes as the minimal time, door chain was broken.
Good things- plenty of hot water, wide parking spaces, not overly scented with cleaning or laundry produces, fresh towels daily. Internet was good except in the evenings. Reasonably quiet.
But I wouldn't stay here again. It was depressing as well as uncomfortable.

This place was a complete dump. There was a guy hanging off the balcony there were some shady looking people in the hallways everything smelled bad there was bulletproof glass in the lobby the room was dirty heads cigarette burns in the bedsheets we didn’t feel like we could sleep there without finding roaches. We asked for a refund and they gave it to us without a problem which tells you something- they must be used to giv refunds. Went over to the Doubletree Hilton- paid twice as much but it was worth not getting mugged by a crackhead from the parking lot in middle of the night

I checked in after 6 pm on a Friday night. I took a nap and washed up before stepping out for dinner at around 7:30 pm. I returned to my room around 10 pm to find that it had been cleaned (i.e. my bed was re-made and towels were replaced). Granted, the room looked organized and clean, but I found it very creepy that someone was in my room late at night, when I know pretty well that housekeeping is only around in the mornings and afternoons (at ANY hotel). I bolted my door and didn't confront the issue until I checked out the next morning. I explained what happened to the lady at the front desk, and even she thought it was unusual and confirmed that housekeeping ends their shifts earlier than that. That was all she said. She didn't seem to treat the matter with any urgency or ensure that they would investigate the matter further. Just an "I'm Sorry". It was just very creepy. I also didn't have one of those Do Not Disturb signs to hang on the outside of my door. I'm a RediRewards member and did not get a complimentary bottle of water when I checked in. I also did not receive a follow-up "Tell Us About Your Stay" e-mail/survey like I normally get upon checking out. I wanted to leave a review directly through their website. Instead, I will leave a review on all other hotel booking platforms. Very disappointed.

Both the bath tube and bath sink were clogged. The small parts of the sink was broken. The room and the two beds are too small. The air conditioner was too old, too close to the beds and too noisy. People are smoking outside not inside but the smell is reaching out to the rooms and when you walk through the hallway you cannot ignore the smell. The room was not clean when we arrived even the toilet was not clean. We needed one week rest after our stay.

I have stayed at this Red Roof probably 6 years now.
Believe me, I look for bed bugs in every Hotel I stay at. I don't think you will ever find any bugs at this hotel, the staff is always around cleaning.
Also, for your information, this hotel has eliminated 95% of the carpet in the room. They have that Pergo wood-like floor, it looks really good and it makes the room look bigger. It's much cleaner then having carpet.
There are more places to choose from in the Tinton Falls area.
