Gross. Terrible. Rude. Stains on the unwashed sheets. S**t flecks all on the toilet. Electrical socks hanging out of the wall near the sink. Chairs with missing wheels. WIFI does not work. The gross out factor was a 10 out of 10. When I asked the manager to replace the chair because it was missing a wheel and I couldn't sit in it, he said that I should just put something under where the missing wheel was. Finally he relented and brought some beat up chair over. When I sat in that, it sank to the floor. The stains on the wall near the toilet are brown/black and are more like smears that stains. Yeah, I think so. I had checked in to stay for a couple of days. When I told the manager I was checking out after one day he said he would not give me any refund and would charge me even if I checked out. I left anyway before I caught a disease.

Blood on the sheets. Hair on the floor and around the sink. The bed was slanted. When our key card didn’t work the employees told us to climb through the window. Also how we found out that the windows don’t even lock. Which is a violation of New Jersey code, when we told the manager he seemed to not care and said it was a safe neighborhood so there was nothing to worry about.

When we first walked in it didn't seem to bad little oder maybe ,then we looked over the beds seemed okay TV worked but wouldn't turn off.Floor was a bit to dusty and dirty for our liking..The Air conditioner would get up to speed and it was so hot that weekend in mid August that we just couldn't stand it. The filters on the air unit were covered with a 3/8 inch solidly packed sheet of dust that nI had to scape off and then wash in the sink ,we had enough after that. Saw a couple of roaches in one of the corners .So we left to see our friends and they invited us to stay with them , so I went back to the Econo manager and told him we decided not to stay the night he said he couldn't do anything for me I'd have to contact the booking office.They did nothing. Would not ever go there again or recommend it to anyone.

This hotel was the worst hotel i have ever stayed in. I left after 4 hours without a refund. there was mold growing behind the bed frame and up the wall, the sheets were stained, and the carpet has cigerrette holes in it. the help was so rude and the manager was no better. barely able to understand english and having buddah's all over the lobby. terrible, do not waste your money, oh yeah and the police cruised the parking lot twice in four hours and gave tickets to two other patrons for car violations.

This is the first review I have ever done on anything. The only thing this place is need of is a wrecking ball. Dirty and nasty are being nice for this place. The front desk person insisted on walking me to my room and going in the room first and to be honest it creeped me out. Best advice is sleep in your car before going here.

I am 53 years old and this ranks as the "MOST DISGUSTING" Hotel my husband and I EVER stayed in. Firstly we were told by the staff through telephone converstations that our stay would cost us $238.00 for 3 nights. We were in a position that we needed a dog friendly hotel so this place was the only one in the area willing to allow our "well behaved" dogs to stay. We got there Thursday evening on the 24th of May after a 5 hour travel time so that we could attend a wedding the following day. When we arrived and gave our credit card we were then informed that it was 238.00 a NIGHT. Well., we were not pleased as this was not what we were told on the phone. Being it was late at night and nowhere to go... we had to "deal" with the situation. We were given a room in the back of the Hotel where it was more like a welfare motel than a motel for a short stay. I opened the door and it was disgusting the odor... did not step in more than a foot and walked out. Was told they would give us a much better room.... Well, the next room... had a shower curtain that was clearly bought from a dollar store and hand exactly 3 hooks that it hung from the others were ripped. The room wreaked of musty smells and stale cigarette smell. The bathroom floor was atrocious. The toilet constantly overflowed and the plunger holder was full of urine and feces. There was a nail sticking out of the headboard., and the carpets were filthy. We placed towels all over the bathroom floor. The room key continually demagnitized. We could have stayed in a Hilton for this price had it not been we had our dogs with us. I would recommend anyone to stay clear and keep on driving past this dump .... you are for sure better off sleeping in a tent or your car... this place should be condemned and that is being kind.

Stayed here with my family because we wanted to enjoy the beach for another day. Definitely needs a renovation. Room smelled like stale smoke covered with a strong spray. The shower was clean, the floor was questionable, the toilet did not work very well, but the water was hot. The air condition was cold. That was it. Would I stay again? Only in an emergency.

We thought the Red Carpet Inn sign meant something. NOT! Room dank and smelly. Bathroom so bad we never did anything except toilet, grudgingly. We arrived late in day & we needed a place to stay in a totally unfamiliar community. Drove up & down the highway but saw nothing else, so gave it a try.
Desk clerk insisted that he had to COPY our D/L for ID. Would not return the copy in the morning at checkout! ILLEGAL! We are always happy to show ID --- copying it is illegal.
WiFi OK because we were right next to the office.
RED CARPET needs to yank this franchise or rebuild the place. We certainly will never stop at another RED CARPET INN. Their reputation means nothing to them.

This place was scary nasty. I had to put my chair in front of the door for safety. The only reason I stayed is they were going to collect over the money whether we stayed or not. Over $300 for two disgusting rooms. We were exhausted so we stayed.

I really wish that Ihad read the reviews before I made reservations. This motel has absolutely no redeeming values. It should be bulldozed over and a new motel or strip mall built in it's place. The first thing that I noticed when I opened the door was the smell of cigarette smoke. The mattresses were supper "El cheapo." There were a couple of cigarette burn holes in the sheets There was a mechanical metal desk chair on wheels that was "dumpster worthy" months if not a year ago. The was graffiti on the wall near the sink that should have been painted over the morning after it happened and the person responsible should have had his credit card charged for the the repair. If not that, brought up on charges for defacing property. The worst was in the the bathroom. The backside of the bathroom door and adjacent wall showed the unmistakable evidence of some guy ejaculating on the door and wall numerous times. Why wasn't this cleaned up when it first was discovered? The owner would have been better off refunding my money then for me lleaving this painfully honest review! PEOPLE, DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DIDN'T STAY HERE! THIS PLACE NEEDS TO BE PUT OUT OF BUSINESS. I regret not driving the extra hour and a halt and sleep ING in my own clean and comfortable bed!
