The Water’s Edge is our home away from home. Absolutely friendly and helpful staff. From a dining suggestion to an activity. We feel very secure here. Welcome the ability to have the pool in the early hours to ourselves and be just across the street from the ocean and 3 blocks from the Boardwalk, as well as the ability to walk to favorite restaurants. This is OUR place to stay in the Wildwoods.
My entire family including our new great granddaughter stay at the Water's Edge every year. The owner and all the employees are awesome to deal with and go out of their way to make your stay pleasant. The property is kept updated and clean. If you need anything, all you have to do is call the front desk or grab the maid. Every year there is a new update such as carpet, furniture, appliances, etc. Our family has been staying here for many years and we will not go anywhere else. This is our home away from home for vacation. Thank you so much Water's Edge. We will see you again next year.
Another wonderful vacation at Water’s Edge Ocean Resort. This resort is so clean, staff is helpful and friendly. Steps to the boardwalk. 2nd year staying here, will be back again. Ocean front suites are great.
The hotel is in a great location but for the price we paid we were disappointed. We paid $2100 for four nights and expected more. The hotel was very dated. It was clean inside but outside the elevator was dirty and could use a good cleaning. The hotel is ocean front so I thought it would be close to the ocean. The ocean is actually across the street and it’s a really wide beach so you have quite a walk. This can be a problem if you have someone who has trouble walking which was the case in our group. There is a BBQ pit outside ny the pool area with no instructions on how to use it. I finally asked someone sho was able to help me. The lighter that you need to start the BBQ also wasn’t working. Also the unit came with two bathroom but only one bathroom had a hairdryer. Would have been nice to have two hairdryers since there were nine people in our group. The staff was pleasant. For the money we spent in my option the place is not worth it.…
Ignore any bad reviews, which are usually from disgruntled people who think the world revolves around them. We were VERY happy with our stay! We've stayed at a bunch of other hotels in Wildwood & this one is the BEST. Staff very friendly & accommodating, room was very clean & more spacious than the pictures show. It was on 4th floor, balcony overlooking the beach. Room had 2 double beds & a fold-open couch. They were as comfortable as can be for a hotel, and a/c was working great. Kitchen area had all you needed for a short stay (coffee machine, microwave, fridge, stove & sink. plenty of utensils & plates/glasses. Outdoor patio/deck, which is small but private (nobody walking across your room) overlooks the beach - great view! Pool was great, and next to it was a small game area where you can play ping-pong, pool or just chill while grilling dinner. Upper deck is by far the largest patio/sun-deck area of all the hotels, with plenty of lounge chairs, chairs, tables with umbrellas - just a great view overlooking the beach. 1 block north is start of the boardwalk, which is great. In the past, we've had to walk 10 or 15 minutes just to get to it. Fresh fruit truck comes by several times a day, which is great. Right next door is a Bagel Time café (bottom level of adjacent hotel) - great food there. And, Water's edge has it's own built-in ice-cream parlor! Overall, we absolutely loved this place & will be returning the next time we go to Wildwood.…
