We were passing through the Northern Cape and decided to visit Augrabies Falls and chose to stay the evening at Dundi Lodge. It was an inspired choice. The lodge has been operating since 2009, yet looks new. Tastefully decorated throughout - the word that comes to minds is "classy". The rooms and bathrooms are great and spacious. Nice touch that...

If this lodge is supposed to be luxurious then it is decidedly lacking in a few major areas. The shower cubicle is a small plastic corner unit that is badly fitted and leaks out on to the laminate flooring which is warping from the water. There is no space to put toiletries near the basin and the one basin would...

We got lost. Well we didnt' get lost entirely, I stopped way too many times between Addo and Dundi Lodge. So we called the lodge, telling them, hey we might be late. Maybe 10pm? They said they'd wait up. Then the rains hit, and snakes began crawling on the road. I am a reptile photographer, and so I stopped for...

Dundi Lodge was the first night of a 5 night trip to the Northern Cape and it set the tone beautifully. We were a group of 7 in total split between 2 twin rooms in the main Lodge and then we took all three rooms at the stand alone Manor House. The welcome on arrival was warm, welcoming and informative....

We flew into Dundi Lodge by private aircraft from Johannesburg on 23 December 16 and stayed until 27 December. We enjoyed an excellent time. Berto went out of his way to accomodate us. Our aircraft was hangared and he provided Avgas on our departure. He gave us the use of a car to visit Augrabies Falls. The staff were professional...
