We took a break from camping, staying one night in a chalet at Mata Mata, and thoroughly enjoyed it. The chalets are well designed and equipped with basic utensils. Our chalet's patio with its barbecue areas overlooked a waterhole in the beautiful Auob River bed....More

We stayed in the newish riverfront chalets and loved it. The houses are well laid out and you feel quite spoiled in the bush. It's great to not have a fence between you and the animals, while the daily procession of animals coming to drink...More
