The guest house is situated a little off of the main road of Franschoek in a lovely quiet area. The views afforded from the room windows and balcony are stunning, while the main road is a brief walk away. The hosts are very friendly and helpful, rooms are very comfortable and breakfast on the patio is fantastic. Definitely will stay...

The guesthouse is located in a quite area. It is about 20 min walk to the city centre. The rooms are very clean and cosy. The bathroom is very spacious. Beds are clean. We had also a small balcony. The breakfast was served outside on veranda. Guesthouse had 2 living rooms where you could relax.

We visited Franschoek last October (2014). The owners and personnel at Maison d'Ail made a very nice impression, asking us what we were looking for and giving good advises for dinner places. A great breakfast and a nice view of the valley. We also experinced the most impresive double rainbow when we where there!

Maison D'Ali is situated in a quiet part of Franschhoek, and is only a 12 min walk from the center of the town. Jeanne and Clive provided personalised service and assisted us with booking excellent meals locally. Breakfasts on the patio were fabulous. We'll stay here again.

I am a "local" and therefore do not frequent guest houses in the winelands frequently. But my wife and I spent a night in this guest house on our honeymoon. What a pleasure. The rooms are private, clean, spacious and tastefully decorated. The guest house is peaceful: there are not many other guests, making the breakfast table feel almost private...

Lovely, modern and clean guesthouse. Excellent breakfast eaten on the patio. Owner was very helpful. Close to the towns main road but far away enough to not be noisy. Very tranquil. Would definitely recommend.

The owners and hosts were absolutely delightful and made us feel very welcome. They have lived and run guest houses in Franschhoek for many years so really do understand what guests needs are, plus they have aded many lovely touches and luxury furnishing to give the place a very "luxury home" feel. Breakfast was fresh and the choice of fruits,...

Very comfortable room with balcony. Pleasant surroundings and helpful suggestions for restaurants. Nice to have breakfast on the patio overlooking the pool. It is best to have car to enjoy Franschhoek and the surrounding vineyards.
