This is one of the places were you just enjoy staying. We were very warmly welcomed and after that treated very well. Very nice rooms, very nice staff, very nice surroundings with a pool, spa, a very good and healthy breakfast, and so on. We also had great massages, and a great dinner at the Tasting Room. Very enjoyable!

My wife and I stayed at the hotel for 2 nights in November 2014. The hotel is centrally located in Franschhoek Village and is within 5-10 minutes walk of everything that you would need. There is plenty of parking on site behind a secure gate. Our room was spacious and even had an open fire which could be lit if...

Arriving in Franschhoek this hotel is located at one end of the main road in a quiet location. The first impressions were fantastic with a very tasteful reception area and beautiful small pool, around which most of the rooms were set. The rooms themselves were very spacious, homely and well equipped. There was a lovely bar at the front of the...

My husband and I wandered the street early on a Tuesday evening and wandered into this restaurant for a drink thinking it was a cocktail bar. We chose our drinks and ended up ordering some of the tapas. Service was great and the tapas was truly special - popcorn prawns with lime salt (amazing) chicken satay (best ever) delicious duck...

We were upgraded to a suite which was a lovely surprise...the room was spacious, beautifully decorated and finished to a high standard. The underfloor heating and...

We stayed at LQF for 5 nights in a delightful room fronting onto the quadrangle of gardens and swimming pool. The view of the mountains is beautiful. We found the breakfasts to be very good, and the informal eatery serving excellent wine and tapas was perfect. The Tasting Rooms is an outstanding experience (reviewed separately). Laundry was prompt if a...
