It doesn't seem right to call Akademie Street a Hotel - it is a different experience. From the moment you arrive, the care and attention from Declan, Stacy, Meena, and the other staff is more like that afforded to long lost family members. However, privacy is also paramount and they certainly find the right balance. The accommodation is outstanding and...

Before we even arrived at the hotel, the owner, Declan, had taken the time to advise us and reserve top class restaurants for us. From the moment we arrived it was clear nothing was too much trouble for the incredibly helpful staff, everything available was explained clearly and we were blown away by the atmosphere and, although the hotel was...

This hotel has created an atmosphere that is hard to find in many places, I have traveled a lot and have stayed in a lot of hotels but with this hotel, Akademie Street, I have experience nothing like it before. It honestly is a home away from home which is something you don't experience often, and this is down to...

Downstairs a lovely kitchen and sitting room, leading off to a comfortable bedroom for our three kids, with it s own ensuite. Upstairs we had a spacious quirky oasis,...
