this hotel is small and cosy, like a little colonial hub tucked away in the mountains. The staff were very friendly and helpful. A free shuttle is provided in to and back from the small main street, about 10 mins away. The breakfast is a decent spread, but the restaurant food is average, better to eat in the town. There...

We stayed here while we attended a friends wedding in the wine estate next door. Hotel was very comfortable and clean, Staff were very helpful at all times. Just to note that the hotel is about a 5 minute drive out of the town, the hotel are great at arranging taxis back into town when needed. The hotel pool is...

We arrived and were welcomed by friendly staff and were informed that we had been upgraded to a suite. So far so good. Shown to our suite which seemed fine. However on turnng off the A/c we noticed a terrific buzz coming from we assumed was the minibar. But no -- concealed behind the tv cupboard was what looked like...

Attended a conference at the venue. What a stunning location. Morning and tea snacks could have been laid out a bit better. Got a bit noisy at times when vehicles drove past. Lunch was really good. Location is top class. Staff were high caliber as well.

Lovely hotel, spacious airy rooms in old thatched homestead. Good facilities with an outdoor pool. Has it's own restaurant 'Dish' - we didn't eat there only because the choice in Franschoek is extensive. One thing to note - this Hotel is 3.5Km outside the town so you can't walk anywhere from it.

We visited as part of a group of 16 golfers in Feb. Whilst I haven't toured with a group previously we missed the service offer in this property. Travelling as a couple we were allocated twin beds? The tap in our bathroom vanity didnt work. When we were offered a shuttle collection from town to make a spa booking, 4...

Dear ed r, Thank you for posting a review of your experience with us. It proves a most disheartening read one which does not portray the standard of service nor product we continually pride ourselves on. I wish to extend my sincere apologies for the substandard experience. As a management team we will see how we can improve service delivery...

We had a great suite as part of a secluded thatched barn, just five minutes walk from the main reception area. The room was tastefully decorated with a big vaulted ceiling (under thatch) and all amenities were provided - wi-fi, air conditioning, TV, a well stocked fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. It isn't cheap but you feel as though you...

I had a magical time here! This place has it all, good food, good wines, spectacular views of Franschoek and friendly, professional staff to cater for all your needs! Rooms are spacious and comfy. The Camelot Spa on premises makes you feel like a god, especially once you've had one of their fully body massages and facials. With beautiful design...

We stayed at Le Franschhoek Hotel & Spa for 2 nights in March. The hotel is in the countryside just a few miles from Franschhhoek itself. It is a beautiful and luxurious place to stay. So relaxing and peaceful. The architecture and style of the hotel was beautiful with white walls and thatched rooves and a stunning backdrop of the...

We wanted to have a special venue for my daughter's kitchen tea, one week prior to her getting married , so chose Le Franschoek based on its beautiful location and lovely High Tea menu. We booked and paid for the venue at least 8 weeks prior to date, and were assured all was fine , up until one week prior...
