We recently spent a night at Les Chambres Guest House. We live in the Western Cape, so didn't spend a lot of time meandering through town, but rather just relaxed in the lounge at Les Chambres - we each had a great novel, and Bill kept the lounge fire crackling. It was warm and cozy. Two beautiful cats kept us...

SO COZY and great value! The hotel itself is in a charming old building with a lovely garden and pool area. The main house has porches with lots of comfy seating for your morning coffee or nightcap. There is a fireplace inside in the lounge. The rooms have everything you'd expect and need, and the decor is charming. The ownder...

I'm very pleased that you enjoyed your stay with us, but I'm sorry about the ant problem. At this time of year there are always more ants around as they try to find somewhere dry when it has been raining. Every year it is an ongoing issue and for the most part we manage to keep them away. But having...

We really appreciated the hospitality of the host. The rooms are fantasticly luxurious (there are no TV's in the rooms, but that doesn't even matter) The included breakfast was more like a large brunch with better food than we had in the majority of 4-star hotels around the Cape. We had dreary weather, but the stay completely made up for...

We stayed only one night at Les Chambres in early January 2012. We booked the Guest House through the local tourist infomation centre at the last minute. The luxurious, large and well-appointed room and a very enjoayble breakfast for 2 was 1,000 Rand, which we believe represented excellent value for money. The bathroom is large with a separate bath and...

Our spacious room was immaculate & well appointed. The 4 rooms are in an area separate to the main house which we liked as it felt more private. The pool area is in the secluded gardens,a lovely tranquil place to sit and relax. The very ample breakfast with lots of choice is taken either inside or outside in a very...

A wonderful, relaxed guest house set back two blocks from the main street and within easy walking distance of all attractions. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable with every need catered for. The garden is delightful with a pool in which to cool off after a hard day's walking or wine tasting. Breakfast on the terrace was lovely and the...

Planned to spend 3 nights and eventually added a 4th. Great spot. Good beds. Very clean and comfortable room. Breakfast was great (very good croissants!), good coffee too! The guest house is just one block behind the best restaurants of Franschhoek, so in a 5 minute walk you are at the door of either: Quartier Francais, Ryan's Kitchen or Reuben's....
