Just off the Main Street however very easy 2 min walk, car parking places next to accommodation , lovely spacious room just off the Main building, breakfast on the terrace, good choice of hot options and cold buffet, open bathroom which may not appeal to all, dogs opposite made it a scary entrance although they were behind iron gates, would...

INNKEEPER’S FAVOURITE REVIEW
Reviewed 27 November 2016

We spent 4 nights here in November and cannot recommend Ashbourne House more highly. Our room was a delight, lovely bathroom and toiletries, very comfy bed and a small private terrace overlooking the mountains and vineyards. Excellent breakfasts on the front terrace with freshly made bread, pastries and preserves. However, It was our hosts Tim and Nadine who made the...

I had a Pool room with a vine covered patio to relax in surrounded by lime trees. The homemade marmalade is delicious! Tim and Nadine are hospitable hosts, making sure your every need is catered for, recommendations for dining, places to visit and...

This is a perfect place to stay. Central, clean and Tim makes excellent recommendations of where to dine and books for you. Nadine's breakfasts are fantastic. Both the owners, Tim and Nadine are passionate about what they do and very friendly.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Lovely room with one of the most comfortable beds on our trip. The pool area with a pool that was actually warm enough to use was really good. Close enough to walk into town we would certainly recommend as the place to stay when visiting Franschoek .

This place is a "must" for anyone visiting Franschhoek. The location is a convenient walk to the high street, the rooms are lovely, and the breakfast choices are all excellent - well done Nadine and the team. But what made our visit so special was Tim's advice. We arrived having done zero research, but it wasn't a problem as Tim...

We stayed in this accommodation for 1 night. We arrived early as we were booked in for the wine tours at 10am. Tim welcomed us to the house and stored our bags as check-in was at 14:30. We arrived back from the tour at 5:30pm and our bags were waiting for us in our room. The rooms were comfortable/spacious and...
