B&B's and Guest Houses are always so difficult to choose - so when faced with that dilemma read reviews! This is a most pleasant place to stay - and fully met my expectations. Banda makes you feel very welcome and takes the time to ensure that you know where everything is. The Breakfast setting is lovely and the rooms are... More

The rooms are artistic, clean, comfortable with little extras like candles and an outside seating area off of each room. Breakfast is fabulous and filling (eggs, meats, cheese, fruit). Owners are very friendly and gave use lots of good advice while in town. Banada oversees the guesthouse and is a gentle softspoken man who was always there when we had... More

We stayed two nights here and really enjoyed our stay. The rooms are good and the whole guest house is very good. Breakfasts are very good and you are really well looked after. It is a secure property within Hout Bay which is a pleasant place but not a place to walk into at night!

This B&B was the most expensive of our 6 week holiday in Southern Africa, so we could be forgiven for thinking it would be special. However, this was far from the case. We were greeted VERY effusively by Banda who kept asking why we were only staying one night at "his house", which we found rather strange as we didn't... More

A great stay at a lovely place with the lovely Osner family. Anita and Martin Osner, assisted by Banda and Mavis, provided a truly memorable experience. A completely safe location as long as you take sensible precautions - just like any other place. Very clean, great views nice breakfasts with plenty of choice, honesty bar and pool. Hout Bay is... This place was over my expectations, friendly staff, amazing location with a breathtaking view to the mountains nearby. It was away from the village but also not a long walking distance for those who like to hike. I went to Chapman's peak drive and hiked the scenic route and got amazing views of the bay there ! The rooms are... More

Staff very nice, breakfast too. The room was nice; There is a swimming pool. Location is maybe a bit of a negative point, you need the car for everything. Also parking can be problematic, everybody got a stop, bit you might have to manouver a bit.

I visited here with my boyfriend in 2007 and 2010, granted that now seems like a lifetime ago, however when we stayed it was just perfect. The rooms were great, the staff were great, the food was great, and the area is lovely. You need a car, but I would say you need a car regardless in Cape Town. There... More
