Stayed there with the family over December. Great location - out of the mainstream Cape Town holiday traffic. Spacious, comfortable chalets with everything you need. Kids enjoyed the swimming pool and roaming the grounds. The units could do with a bit of refresh however as some of the appointments and equipment could do with replacing, but did not impact our... I stayed there for a week and found it perfect for what i was looking for. Self catering cottages with a location which is hard to beat. The cottages are immaculate and are extremely comfortable. The security is very good and you have your own car parking space and area of garden. It's a 5 minute drive to the picturesque... More

Peaceful, private bungalows in a beautiful setting. Adequately equipped and comfortable. Pleasant staff and a secure location. When we stayed the temperatures were unseasonably cool and the place had no heating other than an open fire in the lounge. Firewood was not provided or available to purchase on site. Luckily the shops were still open so we could buy some.... More

My wife and I stayed here for 6 nights and found it delightful. The chalets are well furnished with very nice communal gardens populated by a small herd of springbok, guinea fowl and geese. The site is quiet and in an ideal location for exploring both sides of the Cape Peninsula. Kirstenbosch gardens are only minutes away, as is the... More

Wow, this place is such a wonderful place to stay in Cape Town. You are staying in this mountain retreat but are minutes away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We stayed for a week in cottage 5 and was very happy with the service and the accommodation. We were able to check in early and leave late... More

Rang for accommodation on a sunday afternoon for that night - was 'greeted' with a sullen take-it-or-leave-it attitude when mentioning that it was expensive. However, didnt want to put the kids through searching for another place, so booked. Was met by a gracious security guard who advised us the house was on second on the right (it was (eventually) second... More

A second stay in this lovely location with simple, but adequate, comfort in the cottages. Unfortunately an electrical issue, affecting heating and alarm, took two days to resolve as there is no maintenance help after reception closes and the problem was not reported to management by night security. No offer of recompense was made which is hugely disappointing so we... More

We stayed at number 30 and were very shocked at the interfering landlord during our stay! It's certainly not what you want when trying to have a relaxing holiday! She expected us to cover a lot of costs that were not due to us. And became very rude when we tried to discuss it

We spent a few pleasant evenings here during our visit to the Cape. The chalets are situated in serene parklike surroundings with beautiful mountain views and roaming springbok. The chalets are self contained with all the home comforts. The location is ideal to use as a base for day trips to all the Cape points of interest. Ideal for families... More
