Our family spent quite sometime looking for accommodation in Cape Town but managed to get a villa at The Tarragon due to a cancellation. We have lived and holidayed in Cape Town for many years and this was without a doubt a gem that we stumbled across. The setting was peacefully majestic nestled in the valley but yet so close...

This was our second stay at The Taragon. The first time was exactly a year before just with my wife. This time we took our teenage children and the experience again was thoroughly enjoyable. Helpful owners (reserved a table for us at Dunes, all kinds of suggestions for the children, etc), lovely and efficient staff, great cottages and a view...

this place is totally wonderful. We did Xmas 09 there and it could not have been any better for us - a truly wonderful find (thanks to Trip Advisor!!). The accommodation was great, the location was brilliant for exploring cape town, constantia etc. and our hosts were spectacular. It was lovely to get back on the day of my birthday...

We enjoyed our stay in The Tarragon so much the first time we stayed that we returned for a 2nd time during our 3 week holiday in SA. The accommdation was first class all round with lots of attention to detail, not to mention the landscaped gardens and solar heated pool. The atmosphere was incredibly chilled. We hope to be...

The rain fell in sheets and the sun refused to even glance out from the thick clouds as we made our way towards Heathrow Airport. Cramped inside one of those stupidly small minivans they use to transport kids and newborn babies to sporting events, we [My family and I] crawled down the motorway and into Terminal 1. Thankfully we breezed...

We arrived late on a Sunday evening to be met by Mark. Our on-line order from Woolworths had been unpacked into the fridge along with complimentary beers and sparkling wine. Fresh flowers had been put in the lounge and on the patio table. Our cottage , Angelica, was much bigger than expected with a huge deck and mountain views We...

We found 'The Tarrogon' advertised on the internet when we were looking for a place to stay on our recent trip to SA... we had intended on staying in Cape Town city centre, however as I had previously been to Hout Bay - we decided to look for something outside of the city centre... we could not have asked for...
