It was our fith stay with Froggs Leap and we will come again and again and again :-) We had the opportunity to stay in each room of the house and all rooms are recommendable. The house is situated at the hill and from the rooms upstairs you can see the sea. Stewart and Joke are the best hosts ever...

We stayed at Froggs Leap for four nights in one of the rooms upstairs with a sea view. We would highly recommend this room as it is spacious, airy and has its own private balcony that has excellent views over the mountains and local area. Stewart was very informative with handy hints and tips about the local area including places...

Last stayed here 16 years ago and it is as wonderful today as it was then. Amazing hosts, wonderful breakfast, very comfortable rooms, even the pool room where our 18 year old granddaughter stayed. We stayed in the Wagon room with the four poster bed, would have preferred upstairs but that was all that was available at the last minute....

We stayed in the studio apartment as we had our son with us and it made more sense as there was more room. This meant that we had to go up to the main house each morning for breakfast and as it's up a very steep hill it's quite challenging. We had no wifi in the apartment, only in the...

Dear Joke Many thanks for the beautiful days in your Guest House in Hout Bay. All was excellent and the daily breakfast was amazing. The ambience is very good, the rooms incl. bathroom are very clean and big enough. Wifi in all rooms and the terrace. It's a quiet and nice place and not far away from the center, the...

The house was beautiful, the rooms very clean and more than adequate....the rules a little too strict and not politely enforced! Close to restaurants in Hout Bay, but the walk back was challenging as all uphill, certainly walked off your dinner by the time you got back to your room! Finally.....too many leaves and stuff on the breakfast plates and...

Froggs Leap is a special find in a market awash with B&B's. We love the stylishly laid back feel & decor, spacious bedroom suites with dressing room, bath, shower & kitchenette, and a private patio with harbour views. The owners are extremely accommodating and generous, offering 5 star standards at an incredibly reasonable price. The breakfasts are deliciously memorable, with...

A rush of blood to the head led me to look to staying in Hout Bay for 1 night while on a business trip to Cape Town. I usually stay in the CBD or southern suburbs for convenience. A beautiful "plantation" house reveals a unique, comfortable, relaxing B&B. B&B seems far too 'down-home' to describe Frogge"s Leap though. I stayed...

With taste decorated hillside house with large veranda, where a superb breakfast is served. Comfortable bedrooms (the best mattresses we experienced during our trip) with well functioning bathrooms. Beautiful view over Houtbaai. Good located for trips to the Waterfront, Cape Town or Kalk Baai. Nice hosts, that give you all the help and information necessary

I have stayed here whilst on business/ downtime three times in the last two years. The owners Stewart and Joke cannot be more welcoming, friendly and helpful. The rooms are well decoratd and equipped, extremely clean and some have great views of Hout Bay. The breakfasts are legendary and the staff are also great.
