This is a great hotel…….Lets’ start with the rooms. I have stayed in a lot of hotels over the years and I have to say that the seaview rooms are possibly the best I have every stayed in. They are very large, with a balcony and amazing views, very modern and I really like the fact that the bathroom can...

You just need to come here for lunch and have the calamari whilst sitting on the balcony looking out across the bay........just heaven. If like me you are a keen cyclist it makes the perfect location for a break having cycled up Chapman's Peak.

We flew into Cape Town on the first leg of a three week trip to South Africa. Our daughter had booked us into the Hotel for a few days in order to explore the Cape area. Our room and all facilities were excellent. Our balcony looked out onto the sandy beach. In the morning we stepped out of the hotel,...

Stayed for 5 nights with my husband and son and parents who have never been to SA. We used the hotel as a base for exploring the cape. Did all the sights - Boulders, Llandudno, Chapmans Peak drive, Kalk Bay, Table mountain and so on and it was great to have such a quiet and relaxing base. Walks on the...

... and many animals have for this bar. Their skins are everywhere. The whole place is decorated with flair but the bar rocks it the most. We went with our toddler son, who could not have been more warmly greeted, and made full use of the small but perfectly formed pool and it's surrounding grass garden with, again, a tremendous...

this is where we spent the first night of our trip and we couldn't have chosen a better place; rooms were spacious and very clean, staff very helpful and parking convenient and safe. Best features for us: the pool (and its view over the bay) and the fantastic breakfast

Great food, drink, staff and atmosphere. The staff were friendly and helpful. I ordered a fish dish while my husband ordered the fillet of beef. Both were cooked to perfection. Also, there are designated smoking and non-smoking dining areas, both with a view of the coast.

Stayed for 6 nights in the Penthouse and it did not disappoint. The room was clean, well appointed, very spacious and perfectly designed. A large balcony overlooking the bay which boasted 3 sun loungers, table and chairs and it's own plunge pool, just what the doctor ordered after a long day sightseeing. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We...

Stayed for 8 nights in the Chapmans Peak hotel in Feb. The room was fantastic and spacious with amazing views over the beach. There was no information in the rooms and while the staff were very friendly there wasn't a lot of information available about what to do. The breakfast was very average unless you opted for the cooked breakfast....

We had the greatest Portugues prepared grilled fresh sardines large and unlike any you have experienced. Also had the yellowfin also fresh from the local waters and also better than could find anywhere in Cape Town after ten days! They have German weissbier--this place knows what is good and has a competent consistent kitchen and an efficient well trained wait...
