Booked this room as part of a honeymoon package, so booked the penthouse. Massive room with breathtaking views and all the facilities you would want. Breakfast is OK but may need to think about healthier options such as low fat milk

I remember the old 'Chappies' Hotel from way back in the 70's as a tired , charming old drinking hole. Whilst the pub and restaurants still looks the same, I was pleasantly surprised by my room in the new wing. Beautifully appointed, spacious, clean with everything you need. Private and secure parking takes you right into the hotel which is...

With entering the hotel i noticed the reception , bar and restaurant area to be VERY outdated! I had no expectations of the rooms after seeing this. Well i was pleasantly surprised. The rooms are lovely - newly renovated with lovely finishes and very spacious! We had two rooms which were inter leading perfect for us traveling with our children....

I stayed here as a solo traveler for two nights late March. It was my second time in Cape Town but the first time to stay at a hotel. To be honest, the lodging options in Cape Town are overwhelming! I spent hours on the Internet trying to figure out where to stay - Green Point, Sea Point, near Table...

I've never been worse treated in all my life while checking in at a hotel. We were given a price at booking.com for 3 rooms and one night and they wanted to give us a completely different one, which is absolutely unacceptable. The hotel looks worse than the pictures online. As well as that they didn't want to give us...

A great place to go and eat piri piri chicken livers and fried calamari starters before enjoying a fish of meat main course. Good wine list. The service was slow and had become almost condescending but the view from verandah negated any bad feeling. Great to walk on Haut Bay before and after the meal but the beach was dirty...

We stayed at Chapman's Peak Beach Hotel for 5 nights in February. We received excellent service from all of the staff who were friendly and helpful, particularly John, the Manager. Our room was a corner room overlooking the beach and very spacious with a lovely bathroom, shower and bath and large bed. The only problem was tiny ants! Everyday we...

The plus side is that rooms - in the new part of the hotel overlooking the beach - are good as are the bathrooms. The pool area is lovely and relaxing. High level of cleanliness with accommodating service staff. Very convenient to explore Hout Bay. The minus side is breakfast and the cost. Over the years we've eaten lunch and...

We stayed here for 9 days between New Years Eve and 8/1/16 and the hotel was very busy. We had one of the sea view rooms on the first floor which was a beautiful air conditioned room maintained to a very high standard. We found the staff to be friendly and helpful. The restaurant staff especially Shane went out of...

We stayed here for 5 nights and loved the old style Cape look and feel to the hotel. We found the hotel food menu very reasonable and wine menu was stocked with an excellent variety of quality wines from the region. The old style bar was great place to sit and the veranda was always alive with people relaxing and...
