One night was to short .Very silent place . The surroundings offers a lot wineries to visit . We got a very god recommendation for a restaurant with excellent sauvignon blanc . Compared to other accommodations the breakfast was a little poor bad god .

Our Mountain View room was spacious, comfortable and well equipped. The garden was an absolute delight to walk around and admire the design of its creation. A totally fantastic garden and a proper swimming pool really make this place special. Also, being situated on the river, there are a lot of interesting birds in the garden and in their ponds. They were kind enough to allow us to take some cuttings.

Delightful old farmhouse where we received a warm welcome. Bedroom was very good, large and with own kitchen facilities if you needed them. Cleanliness was excellent as was range of toiletries in bathroom. Hosts could not be more helpful and recommended various places of interest and where to eat. Beautiful garden, secluded and peaceful. Taking our time on Route 62 in Late Feb/early March the main requirement from our abodes en route is a pool as the temperatures are in the high 30s . Unfortunately on arrival the pool was murkey and next day still not clear but now so highly clorinated it was like swimming in a chemical bath . Hopefully the hosts...

Our second visit to Robertson and second to Oude Opstal. Personal advices to the wine area and places to eat in town and surrounding. Quiet rooms. Big swimming pool. Safe parking and wonderful garden. Excellent Breakfast.

cosy accomodation surrounded by a beautyful garden. Lovely and attentive hosts. Henk managed a bookings for us. He gave us very good recomandations by choosing some lovely wine-tastings. It's a nice place to stay! We would choose it again!

Tucked away, but yet central to robertsons wine growers this B&B is an excellent find. Good sized pool also. Gardens to explore, Large bedrooms, clean and quiet with pleasant hosts. it has self catering facilities if you wish to cook for yourselves.

Everything at De Oude Opstal was excellent Henk and Mardi were the friendliest hosts, breakfast was great, the 15m pool was superb and the gardens were a delight. Superb stay - would definitely recommend.
