My parents came to visit for my birthday - only for one week. I wanted there stay to be comfortable and memorable. As our place wasn't big enough to stay over, I chose Cedar Lodge, it had good ratings and only good things said. I can honestly tell you that my parents loved every minute of that place! From the... 6 of us visited Robertson a few weeks ago and checked into Cedar Lodge. The rooms are tiny, with a 12 inch. TV perched on top of the wardrobe,no space to move in the room and no chairs to sit on, only the bed. The only place to sit was outside on the verandah- not the best place in the... More

We feel that your comments are a little unfair as you and your party chose to have your weekend getaway in the middle of winter. You were welcome to use our lounge in the main house if you had asked. We were a little surprised that you decided to braai the one evening given that the weather was not very... More

Third trip to Robertson and our third trip to Cedar lodge, as usual the hosts were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was of an exceptional standard and I think the most food we had for breakfast during our holiday

Spontaneously we stayed one night here as we were sent away from Grand Hotel Robertson which had no room for us although we booked one the night before over booking.com.. We were so happy and glad that we spend the night at the Cedar Lodge and enjoyed the nice garden and a great breakfast. Thanks Paul for your hospitality!

The lodge is situated in a quiet residential area. We stayed in the "family room" no security and open to the street. The furnishings are very old and tired but clean. The room is exceptionally hot, although we were there in mid summer! The breakfasts are good, and the owners friendly. The room and kitchen need a total revamp and... More

Paul & Lynne really are the most welcoming, helpful hosts you could ask for. We booked at short notice and arrived with car problems - nothing was too much trouble for them at all and they really helped us by contacting mechanics on our behalf. The breakfasts are really good and they will help you get a reservation in town... More

The hosts make you feel at home from arrival to departure. Breakfast is better than average and the setting is certainly lovely and the lodge conveniently situated. Our (my sister and I) room was a tad on the small side but we did not mind as we spent little time there. The litmus test of whether or not I would... More

The Cedar Lodge in Robertson, what can I say, fantastic, a traveler could not ask for more. Paul and Lynne are friendly, stunning hosts and Paul's breakfasts are 'to die for'.
