The hosts make you feel at home from arrival to departure. Breakfast is better than average and the setting is certainly lovely and the lodge conveniently situated. Our (my sister and I) room was a tad on the small side but we did not mind as we spent little time there. The litmus test of whether or not I would...

The Cedar Lodge in Robertson, what can I say, fantastic, a traveler could not ask for more. Paul and Lynne are friendly, stunning hosts and Paul's breakfasts are 'to die for'. The accommodation is top of the range and the general appearance of the property awesome. A traveler could not ask for better service and more comfortable accommodation. Paul even...

Paul and Lynne made our stay in Robertson that much more enjoyable through their warm hospitality. Comfortable room, huge bed with duvet and additional blankets available, plenty of hot water. Most enjoyable breakfast with home made jams. Nothing was too much trouble.

This is a homely place run by a friendly older couple (like me) and it really had a home air about it with the family dogs running around. Nice clean rooms, a little small but well furnished and comfortable. I had a great conversation with the owner about South African politics and life - a dangerous subject in some quarters...

Fantastic friendly clean place to stay, nothing seemed to much trouble for our hosts, swimming pool was an excellent bonus. Breakfast was superb and our hosts knew all the great places to eat and even went to the trouble of booking tables for us

Enjoyed our stay, made all the better by the excellent hosts who couldn't have been more helpful. Accommodation was comfortable and clean. Town center was walkable too, which helped since we didn't have a car (we were cycle touring). Spud and co (their dogs) were well behaved and fun too. Thanks for a nice stay. Recommended!

We spent one night with Paul and Lynne and they made us feel at home right away. Paul gave us lots of info on which places to visit and which not. The place is in a residential area and there is very little traffic around so it is very quiet and peaceful. They have a swimming pool which was used...
