Wonderful house with 5 bedrooms to suit our group of 7. Pool for the children. Wine tasting included in your rate. Very good lunch and dinner. Breakfast was very disappointing. Horse riding is available but they only have 5 horses so not good for large groups or children

This was our second visit to Diemersfontein, and we enjoyed it as much as we did several years ago. Again, we chose to stay in the Manor House with it's lovely charm and décor. The surrounding gardens add to the pleasant, quiet atmosphere. Meals at the restaurant are very nice, too, as is the distinctive Pinotage associated with Diemersfontein..

The setting at Diemerfontein is amazinh, however on arrival we found that the room and in particular the bathroom was not clean. There were dead worms on the floor and a disposible razor cartridge in the shower.

Chose this place because of the fabulous pinotage, but the accommodation was a big disappointment. Stayed in the Manor House, sounds grand ? But it was far from grand, faded worn out luxury of a previous decade, clean but tired and out dated. Owners live in same property, with 3dogs, who also joined their owners in the restaurant and wondered...

Very relaxing stay and great swimming pool. Good to taste a number of the wines with the Pinotage coming out on top ! Staff were good and the food good also. One bad point is the lack of proper lighting from the restaurant back to our room . Felt unsafe.

We spent two relaxing days here recently and can recommend it heartily. All the staff were very friendly and we were well-looked after. There is a pretty well-maintained garden with a large swimming pool available at all times. The restaurant is independently run but we enjoyed our meals there.

Accommodation (separate buildings to the main office/restaurant area) was old fashioned but nice! Beautiful grounds. No TV (good!). No safe (bad). Shower was in bath and OK but water could flow freely down the wall behind the bath? No problem for guests but not ideal! Swimming pool was out of order at the time (needed cleaning) - OK for us...

This was a quick evening stop with our family on our way to Langebaan. Diner with Dimersfontein wine was excellent quality and the property is very nice. Service was also perfect, the rooms were quite good and nicely decorated. We will come back!

We enjoyed our three night stay but felt that a safe & fridge in the room would have been welcome extras. Also the "pool" area would have benefitted from more loungers, umbrella as and somewhere to get a drink. by the "pool" area as well as somewhere to get a drink

Beautiful house and garden with wonderful views of mountains and warm hospitality. Shady pool in garden and lovely walks. Good restaurant and wine tasting from award winning wines. Just outside Wellington and an hour from Cape Town.
