Absolutely disgusting. Linen was dirty, mouldy and had blood on the pillows and sheets. Bed was mouldy and falling apart. Furniture had holes in them and was dirty. Outside pool area was very out dated and the wooden floor boards were splintering. Damaged and sticky tiles in the room. Mosquitos flying around as there is a gap between the outside bathroom and the room. We couldn’t believe how many positive reviews these villas have. The location is great, but there are so many more places in Bali you can stay that are much cleaner for the same price. When we complained to the front desk they refused to provide us with a refund. We went somewhere else after an hour here. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone!

I’m so sorry and I hate to leave bad reviews always give the benefit of the doubt but honestly we got here to the villa yesterday and it was not good. I completely understand there has been 2 years of lockdown and times are hard especially in Bali with no tourism past few years. But this villa was not even clean. We literally left the villa ten minutes after arriving as we could not stay we had to go and find alternative accommodation. The pictures they advertise must be years old. It’s very run down and unkept the pool was dirty the bathroom was unbelievably dirty. I honestly don’t understand how this is a 4 star. As I said I am so sorry to be leaving a review like this but even with no money there are things that can be done like cleaning to make the villas more representable . But to be honest even with a good clean it’s very old and needs a lot of work. One plus was the people who work there are so lovely but that’s the only good thing about the place

Firstly the staff are brilliant, very friendly and accommodating, nothing is too much trouble. It’s a pity I can’t load any pics here. Seriously it is promoted as 4 star accommodations, if this is 4 star then a tent in my backyard with no amenities is a 2. It’s between a 2-3 star property at best. The power points and light fittings hang off the walls, half the lights in the villa don’t work. None of the lights around the pool work at all. The timber decking around the pool is rotted and so dangerous to walk on. Plaster is falling off the walls. Seriously if you pay anymore than $50 US a night you’re crazy. This property has not had an upgrade since it was built. By my reckoning that’s about 15-20 years ago. All it needs (given the cost of labour here) is about $5K US spent per villa and it would be brilliant. I want to reiterate the staff are brilliant.

I spent 7 nights here. Reading the reviews previously put me on guard but I think they are very harsh. The rooms are spacious and clean with the largest bed I ever slept in. It has its own private pool which was an absolute godsend at the peak of the heat. It could do with a spruce up but, firstly, the hotel only reopened in April following Covid and was given no government bailout and secondly, their maintenance team has worked tirelessly during our time here. Very close to bars, restaurants and the beach. Staff were really friendly too. A memorable experience all round.

If I had listened to any of these negative reviews I would’ve not come here and had a lovely time. If your fountain doesn’t work, report it, ants report it, you never know they might sort it out! If you have a tattoo, cover it up so it doesn’t permanently stain the sheet! Now my villa had a large diner/kitchen, bedroom and bathroom, plus a secluded little pool. Yes the place has a few bits of flaky paint here and they but coming out of a couple of years with no income they are trying their best! See past this people and enjoy this serene place close to town.

Initial opinion of The Jas Villas was fantastic! Staff were friendly, Villa was clean. My fountain worked, although other villas from our group did not have working fountains. Sadly ending left a bad taste in my mouth. We advised of tattoo we had done as they requested. They replaced the sheets with ink stained sheets. Then on departure charged an extra $65 for sheets and pillowcases because there was a new stain. Leaves a bad taste in your mouth. We were told if we didn’t pay it would come out of staff’s wages. Such a shame to end this way.

My daughter and I arrived to spend 6 nights at the Jas Villas which we booked through Booking.com, based on their photos and description. We had prepaid for a week and had advised the property that we would arrive one day late, but were happy to forfeit that night. We were extremely disappointed at the condition of the villa. It was completely neglected, obviously no repairs had been undertaken for a very long time. It was dirty, the smell coming from the first ensuite was indescribable! A mixture of sewers, toilets and dirty drains, permeating the next room where it would be impossible to sleep. Sheets and furniture were soiled. Dirty marks were on most surfaces and mould was present. The garden in the open air bathroom was merely a dirt strip with two twiggy plants struggling to survive. The bathrooms had broken drains, tiles missing from walls and rough, bare patches of concrete. Cupboard doors were hanging on their hinges and the varnish on the table and chairs was peeling and uncomfortable. The management showed us another villa which was in a similar condition. No way were they going to concede that their advertising was fraudulent with photos probably at least ten years old. Booking.com did not respond to our several emails and we consider them to be equally negligent insomuch as they continue to promote the property in the same standard. The Jas Villas got their week's payment, Booking.com got their commission and we did not get so much as an apology.

Great villa, maybe a little tired but fabulous place. A small walk to the main road but not a problem, makes it nice and quiet at hotel. Having our own pool was great and it was very private. Staff are lovely and friendly, breakfast was nice, bed was comfortable, big good shower and good separate bath, we had a great stay.

Stayed in a 2 room villa with a private pool. The stay was comfortable. Breakfast will be sent to your room every morning. A rather convenient location. However the villa does not really come with a living area.
