I spent a week here and I did not want to leave. The staff were wonderful from every aspect and I didn’t have to ask twice about requesting anything. Breakfast is now an option of a la carte or buffet style or you can have both! Dinner at The Plantation Grill with an opera performer made the experience so special.

Very good hotel, our room was a suite (I think all rooms are suites) clean bright and spacious. The staff are excellent very friendly and professional. Good location across from the beach,close to restaurants/shops. Nice pool area We enjoyed our stay.

Just 3 days at this hotel at the tail end of our first trip to Bali seemed like a luxurious and perfect way to end the holiday. With a great location directly across a narrow road from the beach we had a suite that gave us front row seats to the most spectacular sunsets each evening. We overlooked the Lagoon Pool too, but the rooms are arranged so that we felt quite private (on the 4th level). I noticed some of the rooms at ground level you can walk directly out your balcony doors and into the pool. Along the beach strip the bar owners capitalise on everyone wanting to watch the sunsets, setting up bean bags on the sand and most have their own local singer and bands playing, often at volume to compete with their neighbouring bar’s band. This means at the Double Six hotel, you can be ‘serenaded’ by several singers, all at once. A minor problem. Such nice touches here - a welcome drink brought to our suite upon checkin, it was a refreshing and exciting cocktail; an extra thin pillow when I commented I was having trouble sleeping on the big fluffy ones; genuine smiles and greetings from every single staff member we encountered; a complimentary ‘pressing’ of my dress for a special evening out. We had dinner one night at their Plantation Grill, which has the best wine list of anywhere we went all over Bali, (expensive due to the high Indo taxes), and a fantastic classic martini. I don’t eat much red meat but the dry aged steaks from Australia are a specialty here. We had seafood, all lovely. We loved this hotel - It was just a relaxing haven to get back to after each day heading out either for a beach walk or a ramble along the busy streets of Seminyak. Being foodies we ate widely from the breakfast buffet, which had a great selection of western and Asian dishes - the pastries aren’t so good so we chose the Asian mostly, which was very good. One little thing they could do better - the fresh fruit selection could have been better quality, riper pineapple and melons etc. When we arrived back home and were unpacking I discovered I must have left some clothing in a drawer there, contacted them and was so happy they located the missing items and are in the process of posting back to me. We recently spent a week at the Double Six Luxury Hotel. We really enjoyed our stay. The location of the hotel across the road from the beach was great and the pool was a real stand out, we found it very refreshing. The staff were very polite and helpful and we really enjoyed the buffet breakfast which offered traditional Indonesian food which we loved tyring. Our room was very large, comfortable and clean but could probably do with a little refurbishment but other than that no complaints at all. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

This hotel may not be as large as some of the hotels in seminyak, but it more than makes up for this by being staffed by incredibly kind, happy, and efficient staff. The facilities are very good and location is on the beach. The rooms are immaculate and modern. I love this hotel, and will definitely be going back

Our stay at the Double Six has been beyond expectation. The service has always been friendly, attentive and professional. This starts with the front desk and goes all the way through all sections as being 100% perfection. The room attendants do an immaculate clean, the pool boys and girls make sure you are hydrated and with clean and dry towels, the bar staff and butler make sure you have everything food and drink you need and breakfast attendants all deserve a special mention as the breakfast is delicious and you can have as much or as little as you like. Nothing is too much trouble. The hotel is immaculately clean and tidy and each room is sanitised and deep cleaned for each new booking. This is our second time at the Double Six and we will definitely back for it is 100%perfect.…

My wife and I stayed for 7 nights, from the moment we arrived to when we left the staff were excellent. At no time was anything a bother or too hard for them, everything we asked or wanted was greeted with a warm smile and helpfulness. We celebrated our 28th wedding anniversary and a beautiful flower arrangement and dessert was placed in our room for us. The room was fantastic, we had a deluxe sea view room, and it was perfect for our needs, big bed room with very comfortable king bed, very large bathroom with seperate shower, bath and toilet. There were double hand basins with a sitting area. Lighting in the room is great and good mood settings. From the pool to the restaurants the staff are perfect we are very sessional travellers and this would be one of the most outstanding stays we have had. This is a lovely hotel with great amenities and non pressure atmosphere were you can truest relax without worry. Nice rooms and large lagoon style pool. Butler service. Rooftop bar and great restaurant in terms of Susie-Q. The beach portion out front of the hotel is clean. You are about 10 mins from Seminyak by bluebird cab.

We have just finished 5 nights at this exceptional hotel. From check in everything was done by staff to ensure a wonderful stay, breakfast is 5 star and a most magnificent view, pool and bar great place to get your holiday relax with bonus half price cocktails also a pool lounge available at all times due to non reserve policy. It’s so sad cause we had such high hopes for this location but once we got there we realized that this resort has very little of luxury. We were coming from one of the best resort we’ve been in our entire lives so maybe that’s why the difference was so evident. At check-in you’re required to pay your stay in full,I got told later that is hotel policy,which at the end of the day is alright but it doesn’t work well when you have problems during your stay. We got there and it was a rainy night,we were staying in one if the room with the plunge pool that was supposed to be covered but it wasn’t. The smell just kills you as soon as you enter the room. Since it was raining we decided to have a night in,but guess what! The tv has literally no purpose to be there,40 news channels,there’s no way to connect your phone to it and even tho it’s a smart tv,there’s literally nothing you can watch besides news,which is disappointing for something that is supposed to be ‘luxurious’. I asked the front desk if they offered any activities besides getting drunk on their rooftop but there was nothing to do(at night like during daytime). The next day we got upgraded into the penthouse,which was a 2 story room but with the same exact problems. There was a kitchen,which is good when you’re having bali belly and you just don’t want to deal with any other food than yours and they gave us complementary movies which was very kind. Breakfast was decent,it does the job.The staff is kind but sometimes too much on top of you,it results a little bit fake. On the day before we left there was a leak from the ceiling in the room,they fixed it in about an hour,but again,these are things that you wouldn’t expect when you’re paying so much to be in a luxury resort. My wife had stomach virus the last night and they provided some complementary bread and tea. The 2 stars are only for the managers and reception staff that handled our issues in the best that they could do. This place definitely needs renovations in both physical and logistic way. It just wasn’t a match for us,we wanted to leave after day 2 and we won’t be back in the future.…
