Approaching road is narrow, has steep gradient and is very dangerous. Staff is poorly trained and is not welcoming. Its not worth taking the risk of traveling on a dangerously steep and narrow road and land in a place with poorly trained staff.
Visited Eagle's Nest Hotel after ages and what a disappointment it was! Not only the hotel but also the surroundings/vicinity of the hotel has completely lost the charm. Many new and better buildings have been erected around the hotel and there is too much traffic...More
It is one of the highest located resort/ hotels in Aliabad Hunza. But once you are there then no need to go anywhere else. from the facility, it is only five mint walk to observe the sunrise and sunset on the beautiful mountain of Rakaposhi....More
Short summary: Excellent location and views from hotel. Average food. Appalling hotel management. They are rude and disrespectful if you run into issues, particularly Mr Ali Madad. Hotel rates do not offer value for money. Visit the location. Enjoy the views and head back down...More

Eagle’s Nest Hotel is situated in Duikar, a village at an altitude of 9043.3 feet (2850 m) is the highest village in Hunza Valley and is above Altit village. It’s at a distance of nearly 11km from Karimabad, about 25 minutes’ drive by jeep or two and half hour walk. The hotel is situated in an ideal location from where one can view the whole Hunza Valley below and the surrounding mountains, the Golden Peak, Lady Finger, Rakaposhi and other mountains covered with snow above. The sunset and sunrise are breathtaking. We stay at Eagle's Nest hotel for one night in the month to September last year, the staff was very courteous and cooperative, and the breakfast and dinner were excellent and at a reasonable price too. Our overall experience at Eagle's Nest was very good and we enjoyed there a lot.
There are different blocks and Eagle's Nest with different sizes and numbers of bed. The price per night starts from 4500 Pakistani Rupees for a two beds room, in which we stay. It was a big and comfortable room with attached bath and 24 hours hot water and electricity. The location of our room was excellent too from there we can have the view of whole Hunza Valley below. The room rates started to change with respect to its location and size. It is better you book the room in advance, you can have the detail regarding the rates by contacting them, you can find their contact number on their facebook page.
