Me and my girlfriend stayed here for only two nights and had a lovely time. It is a beautiful location and has a lovely welcoming atmosphere. At night you can hear the sounds of the forest. We were looked after so well by hwe and the other staff. My girlfriend came off her motorbike and they drove us to the...

I arrived in early Feb to Phu Quoc with my 10 yr old son .I had booked 8 nights at Ut Phuong but stayed for 10 . I was looking for something more real Vietnam than the many Beach resorts and I figured on hiring a bike anyway so could explore all the beaches at my leisure /inclination. Best decision...

The place is great and fits the description! It's remote, far from everything and no touristic stuff around. No hassle and a warm and welcoming family who runs that place. You have to expect animals around you, from spiders over butterfly's to geckos, everything is there and will give you a great jungle concert at night. If you are looking...

Pro: Jurgen and Sue and Uy are so nice and helpful. Beautiful butterflies everywhere. The farm is really secluded from the tourists, resorts, construction, etc. A real benefit during high season. Unless you just want to sit in the hammock (a nice option) you'll need a scooter (they rent them). Con: Its a farm, not a "resort." Think irrigation ditches...

Stayed for two nights, the room was a good size but immediately found some mouse droppings on and around the bed, there was a hole in the bathroom wall too so bugs were able to fly in when the light was on. The host was a Dutch fella who was very friendly and helpful, the mopeds we rented were good...

We found this place just by chance here on Tripadvisor. The retreat really stood out compared to all the big, fancy resorts and we felt attracted by the concept. We thought that we would try something different. Our decision turned out to be a successful choice. We really loved the place. It was a great experience sleeping in a bungalow...

During a month-long vacation to Thailand and Vietnam, my wife and I made our way to this rustic spiritual paradise. Official Description (provided by the hotel)
we are a small family run resort based on a active fruit farm on the edge of a national park on Phu Quoc island south Vietnam. We offer basic but clean accommodation for people whom wish to stay in natural environment. We are of the beaten track but only 30 minutes from the airport and 10 minutes to some of the best beaches the island has to offer. At night you will hear the local frogs and other wild life and the surroundings will provide new flowers, butterflies and colours every day. We have a restaurant where you can enjoy local dishes made fresh with locally sourced products that are in season, we will have fresh seafood on daily basis and we do BBQ's, hotpots and other local delicacies. We prepare fresh fish or BBQ you some chicken just as easy as we can make a healthy vegetarian dish. We provide a restaurant where you can enjoy your meal or drink in an informal and green environment. If you stay at another place then your welcome to try our food or pop by for a drink and see how Vietnamese farm life works. This year we have given back the pool to the fish and nature as we found our guest preferred the beach to swim rather then the pool! We have plenty of hammocks to relax in and offer laundry service, scooter rental, help you with bookings boat/snorkeling trips & tours, and not to forget there is also a bee farm next door which produces delicious honey and interesting education but they also offer pizza's from wood fire oven! We offer yoga lessons and Thai massage courses which are taught by certified teachers in our studio run by Jungle Yoga & massage courses. Here we teach many different styles and levels of Traditional Thai Massage techniques and we are fully certified to train people and certify them after they complete an course, we offer yoga lessons in groups but if you wish a private lesson then please contact us to discuss your wishes. This will allow you to learn about these techniques in a relaxed and comfortable environment. ... more   less
