We had a marvellous time at Mango Bay Resort. It occupies a fine site right on the sea, on the west coast of the island. We were accommodated in a timber cabin on stilts, with a capacious bedroom, a good-sized balcony and an open-air bathroom - very liberating and definitely private (it is surrounded by a high fence and jungle...

Once you are in the resort, there is no need at all to ever leave this place during your stay..... They are located along 1km of beach, the resort has a very spacious lay out and 2 restaurants with the best cuisine you can find in Phu Quoc (and not only Phu Quoc) We stayed at a sea-view plantation bungalow...

We had an amazing stay. This eco resort is very eco, it's a cool experience to feel closer to nature and to feel good about not having a huge tourist foot print on this quaint island. Our sea view bungalow was just perfect. They provide various games you can choose from the reception, and plenty of beach activities like canoeing...

You know the old adage, "I'd travel half way around the world for that experience?" Well, I did travel half way around the world to go to Mango Bay and my experience was beyond expectations. Why, you ask? The setting was gorgeous; the service friendly and helpful; every meal fresh and delicious. There is both local food and continental which...

After a whirlwind trip travelling around Vietnam Mango Bay was the best place to relax and unwind. We stayed in a hut with an outside bathroom - which was quiet an experience when I discovered a frog had taken up residence in the toilet - that taught us to keep the toilet seat down! Our stay at Mango Bay was...

We stayed 3 nights, first night in a veranda room, then we changed to fisherman's hut. Main reason was that the veranda room was a bit noisy (slamming door, loud neighbors) and lacked a bit privacy. The relocation to the fisherman's hut was a great move which was worth the little bit extra that it costs. We loved our stay,...

WARNING: 2 nights is NOT enough. We arrives at Mango Bay after a whirlwind trip through the country and I knew immediately that 2 nights would not be enough. (I tried booking a 3rd, which the manager kindly helped me with, but couldn't move my flights). For us, Mango Bay was as close to perfection as we could imagine! The...

We heard many good things about Mango Bay before visiting so our expectation was a bit high, but Mango Bay and the staff really impressed us. We were happy to finally have some time to relax by the beach and Mango Bay's beach was very nice, a bit rocky but it was great for a little snorkeling around. Our plantation...

Mango Bay really surpassed our expectations. The setting's exceptional, the staff friendly and helpful. There are mosquitos but they didn't cause us too much trouble. We found that the coils and repellent provided kept them at bay and the rooms are provided with nets which is useful and romantic. Unlimited free water is provided, but as others have said, it...

We stayed at the hotel next to this from January 2nd 2017. I didn't eat here until the 5th as I'd been ill. We reckoned the food here was the best we had whilst in Vietnam. No more expensive than where we stayed (Ancarine) next door, but so good. Waiting staff were a friendly but a bit ineffective, must be...

This is a low density resort, driven by a passion for the environment, intelligent use of materials, and strong support for island culture. Mango Bay is tucked away off the beaten track, with Vietnam's first rammed earth bungalows, enclosed by beach and protected forest.
