We spent 8 days sun tanning, drinking Tiger beers, and eating too much. The perfect place to unwind. The Garden View chalet was perfect - outdoor bathroom was v cool. Staff are friendly. Only gripe, It is quite pricey when traveling on South African Rands, but then, what paradise spot is? Highly recommend it, and the beach bar at sunset...

It's been almost a year since I visited Mango Bay with a friend but not too late since right now is almost the same season. Went there on recommendation from another friend who stayed there and said it was great -- which it was. Plan to book well in advance in order to secure an optimal room. Stayed 2 nights....

We came to Mango Bay at the end of our 3 week trip around SE Asia. Our minds and bodies were ready for some good do nothing and be pampered relaxing time, that is exactly what we got at Mango Bay. After opting for staying in a beach view bungalow (P02), we realized there are three main areas where you...

We stayed here five days, in the Reef House, it was a lovely way to end our holiday in Phu Quoc, I gave it a lot of thought and we decided for Mango Bay, I read all the good and the bad and I think this is a great place if you want a chill no fuss casual type hotel....

We loved our stay at Mango Bay - a perfect, relaxing end to a fortnight of sight-seeing throughout Vietnam. We stayed in a Plantation bungalow with a sea view, which was idyllic, with a terrace looking out onto the private beach, and a comfy four poster bed and lovely (and different) outdoor bathroom. The resort faces West and so the...

I'll start from positiv experience: 1) nice and clean beach away from the crowds 2) free mask for snorkeling, beach games... 3) large spacious bungalows Thats all Minuses of Mango Bay: bungalows without fridges (for ice you have to pay)...maby its bio behavior but hmmm on the other hand: not energy efficient ventilators (4 pcs on every house). The bathroom...

We stayed elsewhere (unfortunately) but took some spa treatments at Mango Bay Resort. The spa was very cozy and had the perfect beachside atmosphere! The staff was really friendly and the treatments were heavenly! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing moment. :-)

The location is VERY tucked away, perfect for a true retreat away from everything. The staff here are AMAZING. The manager on duty accepted us at 7am and offered us breakfast, even though it would not have been part of the package. We loved sitting outside with the breakfast, which was great. We were also upgraded and guided around the...

Stunning location for a quiet relaxing retreat. The room we had was in a great spot with the beach some 50m away and the sunsets something to behold. However, beds are very uncomfortable and food is very average and very overpriced. The staff are very helpful but seem very overworked. The owners should perhaps be more interested in offering a...

This is a low density resort, driven by a passion for the environment, intelligent use of materials, and strong support for island culture. Mango Bay is tucked away off the beaten track, with Vietnam's first rammed earth bungalows, enclosed by beach and protected forest.
