We selected Mango Bay for a beach holiday to relax after a busy tour of Viet Nam and we were not disappointed. The rammed earth bungalows in this eco-resort were comfortable ; the outdoor bathroom luxurious; the two restaurants very good and the service excellent. And of course lots of time to read and snooze in the shade of a... More

From the moment you arrive, Mango Bay envelops you in a sense of peace and tranquility - no check in, instead you are invited to sit in the restaurant next to the water with a welcome drink... The staff are so so lovely and nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are basic but stylish, and the outdoor bathroom just... More

We stayed a total of 8 days and could have stayed for 8 months. Really great staff, very friendly and helpful. The bungalows are clean and comfortable with great semi-outdoor bathrooms. You may even have a little friend living behind your bathroom mirror. The bungalows further out were my favourite although they're all good. Beaches are clean and uncrowded, no... More

We selected Mango Bay for a beach holiday to relax after a busy tour of Viet Nam and we were not disappointed. The rammed earth bungalows in this eco-resort were comfortable (we were upgraded prior to arrival in order to ensure we had quiet rooms - a large family was checking in near our original rooms); the outdoor bathroom luxurious;... Very nice hotel with bungalows spread in the middle of a tropical garden, facing the sea. We stayed there 5 nights and were really happy about our stay. Very friendly staff. Great breakfast. Good location and plenty of activities on the site (kayak, beach sports...). Restaurant was very good (we tried dinner both at the main restaurant and the barbecue... More

We had the most wonderful four days at Mango Bay. Really felt like we were on a deserted island but with fantastic food and service. Our fishermans cottage was beautiful and perfectly fitted the fantasy of the theme. Could have stayed forever

We stayed at Mango bay for two nights before checking in to another similar looking resort on north beach as Mango were full. Wish we could have stayed at Mango for longer! Unlike other similar looking (on the net) cheaper resorts, Mango is much more spacious, with two beaches just for guests, hammocks and sunbeds spread out amongst the beach... More

This hotel is spread over a vast area and you can always find a place to yourself on the beach or on the grounds. The breakfast is out of this world. I cannot give too much rave for it!! The restaurant is a little pricy but they have great food. The cottages are wonderful, nice beds, and the outdoor bathrooms... More

Just came back from 3 days and could not be happier. First class operation geared toward customer satisfaction. Staff were all great, food was 1st class. Have Tin Tin the bartender make you something special. Would definitely return. Love the outdoor bathroom!

i won't bother echoing what so many others have said: lovely quiet beach, luxurious yet rustic rooms, outstanding food and natural beauty. you will find calm as you relax on your porch in the velvety evening, watching the neighborhood cows wander the property. (really, this happens!) spend your days lounging under a palapa on the beach or napping in a... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
This is a low density resort, driven by a passion for the environment, intelligent use of materials, and strong support for island culture. Mango Bay is tucked away off the beaten track, with Vietnam's first rammed earth bungalows, enclosed by beach and protected forest.
