This a well thought low density set of bungalows with a main hub of reception/restaurant terrace and a second beach bar. Plenty of staff eager to help and well trained. Room was large simple and spotless with a confortable bed and pillows Plenty of hot water, fresh towels, beach towels, nice toiletries The restaurant was superb with a great choice... More

We really enjoyed our 5 days/6 nights at Mango Bay. I loved the open bathroom with garden ensuite! Fantastic to watch the butterflies and share the shower with a toad :-) The restaurant was lovely, fabulous views and great variety even for vegetarians. Plus the staff were so friendly and helpful, even buying us pomelos when we mentioned we would... More

My boyfriend and I stayed at Mango Bay for 4 nights. They provided free transportation from the airport to the resort with welcome smiles, refreshing towel and bottled water for us. Kai greeted us and spoke English very well. The food was excellent. Breakfast is included and there’s a variety of options to chose from and you get a basket... More

We spent three nights at Mango Bay with the intention of recharging while on a whistle stop tour of SE Asia and it proved to be a great choice. We stayed in a plantation bungalow. These are great - a lovely verandah with chairs and table and sun loungers, a large bedroom, and a fun outside bathroom (it's a bit... More

My advice is to avoid any Long Beach Hotel (unless of course you like being cheek by jowel with every other traveller to Phu Quoc and enjoy entwined sunbeds!?) - and immediately head north to this divine canapé of paradise! There is quite a choice of Villas - those tucked into the edge of the jungle and those benefiting from... More

We've just had 5 wonderful nights at the delightful Mango Bay, an 'Eco Resort' that is like paradise on a delightfully laid back island. We had a 'Plantation' Villa overlooking the sea which was idyllic. The staff were wonderful and the Assistant Manager Charles was always around to offer advice and answer questions whether relating to Mango Bay or other... More

Resort Environment: An eco resort with really basic amenities. I like the minimalist concept of the resort. No TV, no Fridge (Cool box supplied). I guess we stayed at Rammed Earth Bungalows. The shower & WC are outdoor! And one night, a snake where im about to use the WC. Since then we keep the light on, just to make... More

This is a bit of paradise but was one of more expensive places we have stayed in in Vietnam, however it as worth it, particularly when the sun came out. The service is excellent, the staff are very friendly, cleaning of our room was almost done by magic. As others have said rooms are rustic, no TV, no hairdryer and... More

People who stay in beach resorts seem to have widely differing expectations. Take us, for instance - we don't really tend to get much out of ultra-luxurious, international-style hotels. We're not crash-hot keen on all-night beach party venues either - and you can forget cheap-as-chips places with lumpy mattresses and a pervasive smell of mould. No - what we look... More

This is a low density resort, driven by a passion for the environment, intelligent use of materials, and strong support for island culture. Mango Bay is tucked away off the beaten track, with Vietnam's first rammed earth bungalows, enclosed by beach and protected forest.
