This eye-sore of a building has thankfully been knocked down as it's illegal and the government have been cracking down on such buildings. I don't think it's a loss. The owners were rip-off merchants (don't be discouraged there are some truly charming places to stay in this town) but it's a shame for the staff who were very nice. I...

Hotel has a good position for the knowledge of the city center. Modern hotel with the lift and nice breakfast terase. Rooms have a good equipment. Only the river is so loud, and I had to close the window. The rooms have a balcony with good view of City quarter Gorica and river. Berat is very nice town with the...

Berat is an interesting town and is on UNESCO's list of World Heritage sites. The houses of the old town rise in tiers of both sides of a river gorge, with the old town center lying in a flat area where the gorge opens up to the countryside beyond. The Palma hotel is situated right there, on the river. On...

We ate at the hotel's restaurant as part of a tour through Albania, and our guide had arranged for a set-price menu of approximately $12 per person, which included salad, borek, stuffed peppers and eggplant, grilled vegetables, chicken breast, a meatball, and a slice of cake. The food was plentiful, and well-prepared. The fixed price menu was a very nice...

Good location. Room quite small but OK, with TV, hairdryer, aicon and balcony overlooking the river. Wifi did not work during our stay. Good view of bridge. Get a room away from the road. Breakfast OK with cereal, juice cheese and sausage and good coffee.

The room I stayed in was cramped and tired-looking. My toilet seat was cracked and towel rack was broken. Every time I opened the bathroom door it pushed against the towels and knocked the unstable brackets off the wall. I ended up looping my towel over the shower stall glass. I stayed here 2 nights. After the first night I...

I spent three nights there on a business trip. Its location is very nice, next to the river and close to the old part of the town, but Berat is a small town, so almost every location is good. The room was cramped with not much space for luggage, but at least it was clean. Breakfast had very limited options...
