There isn't a lot to choose from in Carrizozo. This motel looked pretty good as we parked to check on room availability. Person (woman) on duty was very pleasant and helpful. Once in the room we found the beds to be the old springy ones. Just one chair and inadequate lighting. There was no Kleenex provided, nor skin moisturizer. Lacked...

There are Severe maintenance problems here. Floor was all wet in the sink area. TV did not work. Shower has odd mechiimism in the way to get it working. The price was reasonably but I should of paid a few dollars more to stay at one on the other three places

For the price this is a bargain. My room was clean and spacious, and the internet, heating and bedding were fine. I especially liked the shower. The manager is quite attentive and industrious, with a very friendly staff. He is upgrading the rooms and seems to be looking for more ways to please his guests. While I was there, he...

My friend and I lost power during an ice storm and stayed at the local motel. The people were very accommodating and helped us get settled quickly. They made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. We chose them because their rooms were clean and close to everything.

Really nice folks, clean room, decent rate and close to a lot of historic places. Only problem we found was a leaky bathtub faucet could not turn it off. Close to gas, food etc. I will dtay there again when needed. BJ Elliott

Sheets were clean but heat did not work, blew cold air. Found space heater but would stay on for about 5 minutes then shut off and had to be manually turned on, so woke up freezing several times during the night. Bathroom was moldy and disgusting! Even shower curtain had mold all over it! No alarm clock or refrigerator and...

While traveling the West you come upon these small towns that are nothing more than a crossroads in the desert. These towns do not offer much in a big choice of lodging places and there are times when it's late, your tired and all you want is a shower and a clean place to sleep. In the case of the...

Carrizozo is a very small crossroads of a town and there are really only 3 or four options of anything to either stay or eat. We paid $49 with tax to stay here and even though we got in late at night the front desk Mom and Pop were accommodating and warm. This is a basic highway motel, it is...

Great value for the price, actually allowed me to keep some of my hard earned per-diem which is always a nice bonus! Fridge in the room, very quiet and clean. 2 restaurants within walking distance and the staff were very friendly.

Stayed here when I went on the Trinity Site tour in early April. Much nicer than I expected due to the size of the little town. Desk folks were friendly, room was clean and they let us leave the trailer we had when we went out to Stallion Gate in the morning.
