For my second visit in as many years I am pleased yet again. The warm and friendly greeting was wonderful. The cleanliness is exemplary. The rooms are nicely appointed. The location is at the main intersection which makes it easy to find and close to everything. I see no need to try anywhere else.

I am doing some work in Chama, and this place was recommended to me by the local Judge, and she was right, the rooms are rustic but very nice and clean. Also there is a small sauna that was great after a hard day of work. The owners and staff are really friendly and the prices are not bad at...

This is the only place that we stay while we are visiting Chama. This motel is clean, we'll kept and the owners, Starla and Chester are amazing. They are so friendly and they know everything about Chama and the surrounding area. It is right across the street from a bar/restaurant and right next door to a convenience store. The rooms...

This is an older property but well maintained and well managed. The owner was very kind and helpful, which I appreciated. The room is well decorated and clean. The plumbing is old but works well and the room was spacious. The bed was comfortable and the area quiet.

I booked this place not knowing exactly what we were in for. When we got to the motel, we were pleasantly surprised. I like places that give me a rustic feel. The rooms were amazing and clean. We were provided with the furthest room from the office, which is closest to the road. There is hardly any vehicle traffic, so...

We chose this place because the owner sounded like family over the telephone when I called to check the prices of hotels in Chama...so I never got prices of any other hotel. A little nervous because was booking for me and my father, but once we checked in and settled we were happy. The beds were good, the rooms old,...

We have been on week trip through the Colorado mountains and starting the final leg of our trip, we stopped and stayed in this little Inn. Nervous at first but when greeted at the front desk all our worries went away. If you need pampering then this place is not really for you. But if you like the ranch hand...

After a long day on my motorcycle, I checked into the Chama Trails Inn, only expecting a basic motel stay. Owner Chester Maez greeted me warmly, and as a fellow motorcyclist, we had a nice chat. I stayed in room 14, which is very comfortable and an awesome king bed. The pride of Chester and Starla, his wife, clearly shows...

The good: -The room, bathroom, and furnishings were very clean. -Good DirecTV but standard definition. -Comfortable beds. -Good WiFi -Very close to Fina’s Diner (just north of motel) and High Country Restaurant (west across NM17). -A centrally located ice machine, a small library, and laundry facilities. -A nice...

From Dallas Texas. We researched places to stay and picked Trails End. So glad we did. Nostalgic cowboy/ranch-hand rooms. We would stay here again. Room 12 is the best with wrap around porch. Very convenient place with High Country Restaurant across the road and Fina's to the right within a very short walk, which we did. Host and hostess are...
