stayed just for a night but wanted more... Very clean, artistically decorated, comfortable and cozy. Owner is very helpful and accommodating. Location is very scenic, very near to the Chimayo chapel (5 mins by car). good use of sustainable energy sources, the green-friendly!

We love the place. We stay there once a year when we come to Sante Fe. It is very relaxing, no TV or phones. The unit is spacious and clean. Pat is a great hostess and Marco's art is not to me missed! To be clear Chimayo is a drive ootside of Sante Fe and this is a supplementary place...

I stayed one night in chimayo at the El Meson de la Centinela which was very close to the sancuario and the high road to taos. My "suite" was enormous with large bed, living room with fireplace, kitchen, etc., very quiet and nicely decorated. I wish I could have stayed longer. Only problem is where to go for breakfast!!!

Yes, it is a beautiful setting and lovely, large room. However, it was not clean. The living room area was full of cobwebs, the bathroom tub was very worn and dirty, as was the grouting. While the beds were comfortable, the offensive smell of the bed pillow required it be covered with a towel in order to sleep. The patio...

it was such a lovely experience, staying at this place. Perfect location, perfect setting exuding rustic charm and comfort. We stayed at El Sarape suite which was huge for two people. Tastefully decorated with weaves true to the traditional craft of chimayo. El Sarape has a huge living room, full kitchen in addition to the bedroom. We chose Chimayo for...

Is it contradictory to say someplace is both cozy and spacious? Our Ristra suite was just this--very home-like living space, with comfy couch and loveseat for TV watching, fireplace, dining table with at least 6 chairs (maybe 8?). The bed was tucked into a nook behind a half wall just to the other side of the fireplace. Plenty of dresser...

El Meson de la Centinela was by far the nicest place to stay in the Chimayo- Espanola area. Pat was very knowledgeable and helpful about where to eat and what to see. A great plus is taking a trip across the road to see her brother work at his craft!!! The rooms were large and quite comfortable. The road from...

Can’t imagine any traveler asking for more—the rooms are warm and welcoming and incredibly comfortable. We had a beautiful kiva fireplace, king-size bed and full kitchen (complete with 2 kinds of coffee in the fridge!). Located near the road and easy to find, the rooms are completely surrounded by wonderful natural landscaping; we could have easily spent the day on...

If I could rate this 6 or 7 stars, I certainly would! From my arrival to check out, everything was perfect. This lovely home turned guest home for weary travelers is so very welcoming. Just driving into the driveway, seeing the property was encouraging because it is so peaceful and lovely. The Inn is right on the High Road to...

I stayed at El Meson de la Centinela for two nights. I was delighted to find such spacious and comfortable accommodations at such a reasonable price. Though it is right on the road there is little traffic. I thoroughly enjoyed being so close to the farm the family owns and to the amazing art(sculptue and weaving). Sitting on the porch...
