Super cute theme rooms. Clean and the beds were comfortable. Pet friendly. The owners are great too. The biggest isse was the very tight parking lot. The wildlife walk the streets of this little town.

On a recent geocaching road trip we happened on the Cimeron Inn. Very rustic but sufficient for our needs. The room was clean but not quite the holiday inn you might be used to. There is a roadside display in front of the inn that will give you the local history, and worth the time to read.

Thank you for your kind words. Yes our rooms are clean but we are a mom & pops Motel so agree it's not the same style as a chain Motel. The Historical Markers along the road out front are very popular with visitors that pass through or stay here in Cimarron. More

Small room, but very clean and lovely. Deer come right to your window to graze. Beautiful and picturesque. Have several different size rooms, depending on your needs. Kip's restaurant is right up the road. Great places for travelers looking for low cost facilities.

The Cimarron Inn is in many ways a time warp -- a back-to-the-1950s motel experience with a few gestures toward modern amenities. The new owners -- a very nice British couple -- make every effort to provide a comfortable, basic, and clean stay. They are succeeding. Rooms are basic. The "doubles" are small, but there is always hot water, the... More

We have stayed here before. There are new owners who are as nice as can be. The rooms are clean and themed. It is an older motel but a neat place to stay. Not fancy at all and doesn't have all the amenities of newer hotels but for the price it is a good value. We hope to be back... More

Read through previous reviews before booking...bottom line is rooms are inexpensive and you get what you pay for. Grounds and lodging are quaint and our family loved it. We walked to get dinner and breakfast and watched the deer walk around the grounds at dusk. The beds are a little squeaky and there are no amenities such as shampoo or... More

I had to find accommodations for a large group on a budget. I wanted something that was rustic, not too "slick" and would capture the spirit of our trip. I had stopped by Cimarron several times over the past few decades and thought it the perfect spot for our group as we headed on farther into New Mexico for a... More

We got the Southwest Room. Not much room with the double bed in the first room. It was "bouncy". Not really comfortable. Only one chair and and old school tv that did not have good reception. Shower was good with plenty of hot waster. Queen bed was fairly comfortable. Refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot in the room. Loved being able... More

I had to fly last to New Mexico to be with my son who had to come off the mountain at philmont because he has to eat gluten free and got gluten by accident. The staff at this inn has been beyond amazing and accommodating. The rooms we have had the privilege to see we're the southwest room and the... More

Looking for awesome vintage? This is your spot! Clean & safe. Just right for the husband and I on our travels. If you are snooty and demand heated towels, room service, $500 linens, ac (it was a comfy 68 degrees at night) and someone to lick your boots go on down the road. This little motor court took us back... More
