      One our way through New Mexico, we stopped at The Lodge at Cloudcroft for another visit. While staying in Cloudcroft, we visited White Sands and Sun Spot, and hiked several of the trails in the mountains.

      Views were beautiful, but accommodations were average/lodge is run down. My family and I like to be outside and there wasn't really an outdoor "hangout" area here. Luckily, the restaurant at the lodge wasn't crowded - so, we got take out from a BBQ place...More

      Not at all. The A/C is great and there are electrical outlets in more than one place in the room. It is an old hotel of course, built in 1899 but the plumbing and (thank God!) electrical systems are modern. We recharged... More

      We stayed in a king room but it didn't have a view of much of anything except beautiful snow out the window. Really loved this place though. Lots of history and even a ghost. The room was adequate size too.
