LRM was the perfect place to spend my weekend. I chose Suite 4 which was very comfortable and I liked the decor. Also the room was SPOTLESS and had everything I needed for the weekend. It is walking distance from the lake and hiking trails. They have a beautiful spot in front where you can grill and hang out or...

This is what you can expect from this motel: do your own housekeeping, bring your own towels, a non-working WIFI, extremely rude owners, and shabby rooms with a view of the main road. Also, you might want to hope in advance for a bad case of nose congestion so you will be unable to smell the constant stench. The urine...

We were there for a family reunion and were camping at Lake Roberts Forest and campground. We had family and friends meeting up with us so we had people coming and going. Only two of us stayed at the hotel but the owners/managers insisted that we were taking advantage of them by having family members who were supposedly taking showers....

If you're going to see the Gila Cliff Dwellings, this is the best option in the area, bar none. The owners are extremely friendly and bent over backwards to support us even when they were leaving the area to attend a funeral. Cabins/Rooms were clean, fully furnished, and more than adequate. Peaceful, quiet, quaint. RECOMMENDED!

We drove from Atlanta to Mimbres for a family reunion and opted to stay in a motel rather than the campground bunkbeds since we aren't 10 years old. After a long, 2 day drive, it was such a pleasure to stay in such a clean, charming, peaceful place on a mountain in New Mexico. The rooms are beautiful and spotless...

Brand new beds, the most genuinely lovely proprietors and gorgeous surroundings add up to the perfect place to stay and play, or to catch a few zzzzzz's on the way to the Gila Cliff Dwellings as we did on Spring break. We are very grateful to Sara Jean and Joe for their kindness and hospitality throughout our stay. And did...

On our way to the Gila Wilderness, we spent an evening at the Lake Roberts Motel. It is an older, strip style motel, but the rooms are VERY clean, comfortable, with many amenities in and out of the room - a true diamond in the rough. The owners are friendly, and accommodating to the needs of their guests. In fact,...

Words can not express our positive experience at Lake Roberts Motel. Mr. and Mrs. Zamora are loving Christian people who have poured a lot of love and consideration into their motel. The room was beautifully decorated, exceptionally clean, and comfortable. The bed was just right, and it is peaceful and quiet at night. We really enjoyed our stay!

Joe and Sarajean Zamora are charming, accommodating and extremely kind hosts. I enjoyed meeting and spending time with them. A special plus that is hard to find elsewhere is the number of animals - rabbits, cats, chickens and dog who also share the property. They are delightful and definitely an attraction for those animal-lovers among us. The setting is lovely...

Stayed here one night before setting off on a backpack trip. Pleasantly surprised at the nice, clean room and friendly, accommodating owners. The gazebo is nice, the room is equipped with fridge, microwave, etc. wifi works great. Highly recommended.
