We did the two day/three night trip and had an amazing time! The rooms are homey and clean. The lodge is right on the river so it's possible to keep tossing in flies if you have any energy left after a full day on the river. Our guide John put us right on the fish both days...neither my husband or...

This comment concerns The Rainbow Lodge and its outfitter service. My husband and I have been fishing The San Juan River for 20 years. We believe in guides. It is essential in gathering information about the river you are fishing. Navajo Dam is a small world in fishing terms. Through the years we have come to know or at least...

Steve has hosted my customers and myself for several years now and he never disappoints. Atmosphere is great, food is great and the company is great. Highly recommended. Each apartment sleeps 4 with satellite tv, and wifi. Meals are served family style and the food does not belong at a fishing lodge( don't come here thinking you will lose weight)....

Went to the San Juan river to catch lots of trout and was very successful. Steve and his dad John were great hosts. Room was clean food good. If you are going fishing this is the best lodge on the San Juan

I cannot say enough great things about all the folks at The Rainbow Lodge. Steve and Joe offer hospitality that is unmatched. They accommodated our schedule, as well as the schedule of the corporate group that was there at the same time. The cooking is gourmet and delicious! Be sure to ask for their famous fruit cobbler for dessert while...

As others have said, Steve is an super host. We were way early to check in and he made a special trip down to let us in our room. We asked for a microwave and he had one ready to put in our room. The room is huge. Two bedrooms with two single beds per room. The living area has...

Steve Gill is a consummate host and runs a great small lodge near the water in Navajo Dam. With only three rooms, this lodge fills up quickly. The rooms have two bedrooms each and a large living area. The bedrooms have two twin beds and were very comfortable. Chef will go all out to make sure you are well feed...

I can't say enough about what a great job Steve does. The service is incredible, the rooms are spotless and everything is beautifully maintained. Best of all, Joe the chef will treat you to gourmet cooking that you won't believe. Also, Steve is a phenomenal guide on the San Juan River. Can't recommend Rainbow Lodge any higher!

The Rainbow Resolution Lodge offers the middle ground in Navajo Dam. Not as pricey as Soaring Eagle, and much cleaner and modern than Abe's, it can be the compromise location for the fisherman who wants more than just a bed. The Lodge is actually a modular construction with three seperate apartments. We stayed in room three, which has two bedrooms...
