We stayed here in January 2017 in room #3, which has yet to be remodeled. Ugh. Don't, don't, don't. Why I didn't like it: futon in sitting area smelled strongly of dog. It was a patterned couch, so was likely as stained as the chair next to it - which had a broken base. When I went to get a...

I remember your stay and am surprised that during a 3 night stay that included a daily service, where myself or housekeeping comes by to exchange towels, take out trash make sure you have the essentials like TP and coffee, that you failed to mention the dirty dishes or the "dog smell", but waited until the last day to bring...

We had an amazing time in Red River over the MLK weekend. Stayed at the Deer Lodge which was in the perfect location. The manager of the lodge (Nina) was very friendly and informative. Everything she suggested was a hit with our family the snow shoeing, skiing, where we got our rentals, and dining. Most of which was with in...

Just got home from spending 5 days in Red River. Stayed at the Deer Lodge for the second time now. It's not your fancy, high priced condo. It's a clean, inexpensive place that is a block off the main street. They have rooms with 2 beds and full 2 bedroom cabins with kitchen utensils. They are also updating their rooms...

It's an older place but that's what gives it its charm. Manager was very friendly and accommodating, even had treats for my traveling partner. Rooms are small but very cozy. Planning on going back there again.

This is a cute little place to stay. The room was nice and had plenty of space. We stayed in room #7 and our friends were in #8. We shared a porch with them. The lodge is within walking distance of everything. The staff was awesome and met our needs. The prices are comparable to others and maybe a little...

Nice cabins, newly remodeled. Motel style has refrigerator and microwave. Full kitchen cabins available. One and two bedroom cabins, located one block off Main Street. Free Wi-Fi and Direct TV. Friendly, pleasant staff. Pet friendly with daily fee of $20-$30. Prices range from $55-$100 nightly. We will be returning soon!

Definitely not the cleanest, nicest place in town, but we gave it three stars because the staff was very friendly and helpful, and the bed/pillows were surprisingly comfortable...we expected the worst when we walked into the room. Although outdated, in need of repairs and not the cleanest, the room was comfortable and quiet. Our two furry kids were welcomed whole-heartedly...

First of all I dont't understand why the Deer Lodge is inserted amongst the speciality lodging list. It's for sure a motel and it should belong to the hotels list. The place is located very close to main street on a side street, within walking distance from most of what Red River offers. The Deer Lodge is one of those...

Clean. Noisy. Cozy. Shower leaked water all over the floor, could not tell where it was coming from. Front desk was so nice and helpful . But busy. Nice decor. Ornery coffee maker in room. Mini fridge in room. Bed okay. Location is not the best in red river. Far from platinum lift but pretty close to the copper chair....

Not the Best lodge on the block. You pay for what you get. Inital check in went well. But after the first night woke up to find out that the toilet wouldnt flush the next morning. I called the front desk (Nina) and she said she would be by to look at it. When she arrived to our room she...
