stayed here a lot, like the new management, great location (close to everything, but more quiet at edge of town, like the outdoor activities (kids playground, fire pits, grills, patios, horse-shoes, etc), plenty of parking (had ATV on trailer), even seen deer and couple bears. relaxing, fun and fair prices.

We stayed there Feb 5-7 with all our kids and grandkids. Had two adjoining units (each w/two room and both had great, updated kitchens. It was perfect for us and will definitely stay there again next time we are in Red River!

Despite the negative reviews from July, I had heard from so many what a terrific time they had in Red River while staying at the Golden Eagle. So I called, asked them for a reservation, and asked if there was a reason for such horrific experiences in July. The good news was the lodge is now under new management. Not...

We stayed here over Labor Day weekend. We had stayed here once before two years ago, and it was adequate, nothing fancy, but OK. This time, it was a disaster. Our room was dingy, the carpet was dirty, and the toilet was about ready to fall through the floor. The "Free Wi Fi was nonexistent. Then to add insult to...

We stayed here for a family reunion from July 10-13. We will never stay here again. The floor in our bathroom (#8) was so rotten, I thought I was going to fall through. The toilet was braced with a 2x4 so it wouldn't fall over. The bed was hard and the linens were old. The carpet was old and dirty....

We rented a room with 2 queen beds for a two night stay for July 24th and 25th for myself, my husband, and my two adult sons, one of them who is disabled. The morning of the 24th I called to verify that we the room was available since I had not yet received a confirmation. I was told that...

Our room was outstanding, very clean. Wonderful people who take care of anything you need. The outdoor patio is an awesome way to wind down after playing in town. Very nice and quiet. Just off the main street with a free shuttle. Try the coffee, it's amazing. Already planning our next visit.

This is a great lodge to stay at when in Red River. We have stayed here the past 3 years when we come to Red River. The owners are great, friendly people and will help with anything you might need during your stay. Great location, just a 1/4 mile from the town, so it's exceptionally quite during the night.

We came to this lodge for the 4th of July. I was skeptic because of the negative reviews--but pleasantly surprised. The place was clean, the owners were very friendly and we he everything we needed in a very good location. We visited with our baby boy and 2 small dogs. The room was small but it worked for us. The...

The room we got had two beds and a bathroom. That's it. There was one kitchen for the whole hotel and this already threw me off. It is also placed quite out of town so we had to drive into town rather then walk when you stay at other hotels more inside the town.
