We arrived late due to reasons beyond our control and could not check in. We ended up staying at another hotel. When we got to Aspen Lodge we found a sign saying "this is no longer the office" that listed a number to call for service. The number took us to someone's voice mail (someone who never returned our call)....

Management response:

All our guest receive an email 3 days before they check in. In that email we provide a code for the room. We have keypads on the doors so you can check in whenever you arrive. This complaint was made because they forgot there email. When you make a reservation our policy explains this. So if you make a reservation...

We had two rooms, bath, fully stocked kitchen, dining and wonderful 'cozy' living area. It was the perfect 'home away from home' for our family. We had everything we needed. We all loved the decor. Our beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was such a wonderful bonus. We ate what and when we desired. It was quiet and so peaceful....

I had a good stay here. There was just one thing that i didnt like and i know its not the lodges fault, but i recommend getting a room on the top floor or making sure there is no one staying in the one above you. The first night we got there about 4:00 in the morning we were woke...

What a great place to stay in this small resort mountain community. The condo was very clean and modern with nice native american decor. I was surprised there were 2 beds and a nice deck out back behind the cabin. The pictures online don't do this place justice! This would be a spectacular place if they could add a hot...

My wife and I had a very good stay at the Aspen Lodge. It is convieniently located just off the main street. The room was very clean and cozy and the price was reasonable. When reservations are made a code to get into the room is provided so there is no reason to have to contact anyone when arriving to...

We visit Red River regularly and have stayed at Aspen Lodge on our last two visits. We have had good experiences both times. Excellent value for the money. The location is convenient to just about everything. The rooms are clean, and the staff is very helpful. They also have Jeep rentals on the property, with good off-road maps provided with...

We have stayed at Aspen Lodge several times and always have a great time. The part owner/manager Jason and his wife are great hosts. They also operate an on site jeep rental...very fair prices. They have lived in Red River for a long time and are great sources of information, helping us make the most of our trip. The location...

Our room looked better than the posted pics. They had just remodeled it one month before our stay and it was nice and clean. Location was just off from Main Street and you could walk to practically anywhere in town for shopping, dining, and even hiking, and fishing. Lots of activities for families with young kids. Views outdoor (and even...

We really loved staying in this condo. There was plenty of room for our family. My daughters loved looking up at the starts at night through the sky light. The beds were really comfy and the jetted tub was amazing. We were just a block from local eateries and shops. The area was really quiet and so relaxing.

When we first walked in we could smell gas. Apparently they know this is a problem because there is an Aim-A-Flame stored on top of the stove. There were also several burnt matches in the stove where others tried to light the piolt. We attempted to light the pilot but to no avail. The only way the stove would light...
