We have stayed at 6 lodges over the past 2 years - from basic to super luxurious and Nottens rates as one of our favourites! I can only echo what other reviewers have said: it is incredibly atmospheric with only candles and lanterns at night. The decor is tasteful colonial in style, clean, spacious, airy, and classy. Dale is an...

I don't know where to start! This Bush Camp is amazing. Our first safari experience will never be forgotten it was an experience of a lifetime. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The quality of the food amazing - the Braai, cooked by Dale, the Manager, was to die for - fillet steak as you have never tasted before....

Everything at this place was just fantastic. Food, service, very friendly and service minded people and even a family relaxed atmosphere. As for animals and trackers - the very best, we got to see an incredible variety of animals everyday at every route. We strongly recommend you going here in case you want to relax, eat great, enjoy fantastic service...

This was our first safari. Fantastic atmosphere in all the camp from all the staff. Relaxed casual. Fun. Particularly enjoyed the meals together with everyone. Drinks in the bush also fun. Food delicious and plentiful. Lots of vegetarian options. Lots of cheery banter and interesting stories from the owner David who doubled up as barman on the nights we were...

It was our last camp of our African visit. We had three nights and I wish it could have been longer. The service from everyone involved at Nottens gave was above and beyond expectations. From the staff who greeted us on arrival, to the drivers and scouts, to management, to chefs and everyone, it made our African sojourn so memorable....

Wife and I stayed here 1 night - it was our last night of safari. It is a beautiful property! The rustic charm is turned on 100%. Our room was beautiful and romantic, and appropriately screened off so we could sleep with the doors open so the night breeze cooled us off. The pool is clean and nice to dip...

I rarely give a rating of 5 but our stay at Nottens Bush Camp was the highlight of our trip to South Africa. The game drives were incredible!! We saw nature at its best on each drive. The trackers were so knowledgeable and always made us feel safe as we approached the animals. The accommodations were magnificent. Our room and...

I spent 4 nights at Notten's at the end of February with my family. We were all delighted with our experience--the safari drives were outstanding, the facilities beautiful, and the staff were without exception wonderful (and also very happy, which is telling). The lack of electric lighting added to the charming, rustic nature of the place. The rooms were huge...

We are picked up from Rissington Inn near Hazyview and driven to Nottens Bush Camp in the Kruger National Park. The journey takes just over an hour and the last 20 km are on rough tracks. It is getting hot and humid and since most of the camp does not have electric light (but power points for electrical equipment and...
